Edited to clarify: While I in principle agree that this is a private matter, it's beyond ironic that all of a sudden Alex Jones considers privacy to be a legitimate matter.

Link to an article about the custody trial with some hilarious details: http://www.motherjones.com/media/2017/04/alex-jones-custody-battle-infowars

feck him for what he did to Sandy Hook kids' parents and families by peddling conspiracy theories daily. You lose your rights to personal privacy after such scumbaggery.

I recall reading a quote from someone which goes "I vote for Trump's policies, not the man himself" which opens up a new dimension on why he won the presidency.

When he says Mexican wall, people think Immigration reform. When he says China/Nafta, people think jobs to US. When he says crooked hillary, people think anti-establishment. Rather than the plasticity of the statement themselves, it is a powerful tool that resonates well with the older and blue collar population and the traditional Republican fan base. His showmanship won him the presidency imo. You can say that the democrats/liberals are out of touch with the common man (coastal states aside).

He's a megalomaniac, but not a dictator. Not a defence by any means, he still is a lunatic nut case who is inept in managing the country, but he's got the problem points correctly identified.

As someone who was looking in from the outside, this was exactly how it seemed to me. The walking orange correctly identified all the issues that were plaguing a lot of people. Granted he never really stated in any coherent manner how he was going to solve them, just lots of vague promises and chest beating, at least he identified what the issues were. A far cry from Hillary "Well at least i'm not trump" and arguably the worst slogan she could have used "Four more years". Just those 3 words would give people the impression that she isn't aware of the issues they were facing. It is understandable that people would have voted for someone they at least thought recognized their issues. Of course we're seeing now what a giant mess this could all turn into.

Bernie will always be the one that got away for me. Finest politician I've seen in my 24 years of life. He was the one I felt could truly make the difference. Instead now you have the Cheeto.

Surprised the media are not focusing on this dodgy shell company (Milan Investment Limited). They bought 11 condos for 3 million where Trump is the co owner. These purchases took place just before the RNC convention.

The company's address was falsified and was that of a "strip mall office of a financial services firm" who had never even heard of this company.

Really good investigative journalism from the USA Today.

This is part of the article.

A couple of weeks before the Republican National Convention, a Las Vegas financial firm filed paperwork to found Milan Investment Limited in Nevada.

Days later, the newly minted company went on a buying spree. Milan spent $3.1 million over four months to buy 11 luxury condos in a shimmering golden tower near the Strip that Trump owns with friend and casino mogul Phil Ruffin. Trump Ruffin LLC collected the last of the money weeks before Trump was elected.

Milan Investment tracks back to what appears to be an incorrect address, the strip mall office of a financial services firm.

The owner, Thomas Sullivan, said he never heard of Milan Investment but said a federal “regulatory” agency visited his office in person asking similar questions. He declined to identify the agency.

“We’re completely in the dark,” Sullivan said. “We don’t know if it was a mistake, or they used our address for some reason, but we aren’t associated with them.”

Meanwhile, stores are closing at an "epic pace":

Stores are closing at an epic pace. In fact, the retail industry could suffer far more store closures this year than ever.

Brokerage firm Credit Suisse said in a research report released earlier this month that it's possible more than 8,600 brick-and-mortar stores will close their doors in 2017.

For comparison, the report says 2,056 stores closed down in 2016 and 5,077 were shuttered in 2015. The worst year on record is 2008, when 6,163 stores shut down.

"Barely a quarter into 2017, year-to-date retail store closings have already surpassed those of 2008," the report says.

If stores do close at the rate Credit Suisse is projecting, it could mean America will lose more than 147 million square feet of retail space this year.

Internet shopping is taking over

Drumpf is obviously trying to set the table for his report card at 100 days next week. No excuses for his lack of accomplishments given that he has a GOP house and senate.

Ah, yeah. MS-13, which was started in Los Angeles and has long since established itself all over the continent, will be stumped on how to deal with the wall.

Guess he feels the need to break out the old shit because he's shifted too much in recent weeks and it's unsettling his core base.

The border wall stops drugs....

It also asks them if they have a passport and searches them too.

He's on a different planet to everyone else, I might have to rethink defending his sobriety. Fecking twat.

How can you detract from a polling organization and simultaneously use it to promote yourself in the same tweet?

He's obviously a moron. I've noticed his silliest tweets seem to come when he feels he's losing control of the narrative, as when the media are blanket covering the Russia investigations, his taxes, or now the 100 days milestone.

And we're back

"Eventually, but at a later date so we can get started early"

What the fcuk does this mean?

That he's going to start building a wall without Mexico paying but they will put their hand in their pocket at some point?

He's basically getting an early excuse in as to why the US will initially pay for the wall despite consistently saying Mexico will do so. It's now changed to "they will pay for it eventually", and I fully expect it to finally end in "the cost savings made by having the wall up are paying for the outlay of the wall" (of course without any evidence of this happening, because who needs evidence when you're the US president) when he doesn't get a penny from Mexico.

$25Bn isn't a lot of money for the US government tbf. It's a fine amount for a vanity project, the problem is a border wall is racist, useless and the running costs dwarf the initial investment.

$25bn is bigger than NASA's annual budget.

What's the idiot's reaction going to be when inevitably someone draws a picture of him on the wall with a dick in his mouth? Its going to be the world's largest empty canvas for Trump cartoons.

At this point, his supporters don't care who pays for the wall. Might as well drop the pretense and go full steam ahead building this wall without Mexico paying for it.
