you said that nobody has an issue with someone supporting trump. my point is that this is false. look at this place. it's clear the people who don't support trump also don't like his supporters.

We don't hate his supporters, there is no way to like or dislike them. What we do is dislike the uninformed opinions that they share.

Just wanted to mention - unlike others in here, I dislike Trump voters and quite vocally. I have unfriended 4 people on fb and have stopped speaking with a friend who admitted to voting for Trump.

In fact, I don't care if disliking them is my 'liberal east coast elitist arrogance' - and I don't care, if not 'understanding' them, will result in them winning more elections.

So be it.

Stop digging, dude.[/QUOTE]
you keep referring to the same thing all the time. keep bringing up the uninformed issue coz you don't have an argument. bias has nothing to do with being informed or uninformed. and I know I'm right when I say you guys are biased although you guys can convince yourselves otherwise if you wish

"Enough deraileramentism! Get back to talking about ME!"

That's exactly why it's utterly ludicrous, in what way is some state like Wyoming the equal of California or New York?

But the entire concept of a 2 tiered Congress is based on weighing the interests of the populous states vs the interests of the smaller states, who threatened to not join the Union if representation was solely based on population, with no regard for the limited sovereignty of each state (cf. Connecticut Compromise). States, unlike territories or counties in other countries, are for the most part soveriegn entities. The Feds only step in when defense, interstate affairs, foreign policy and basic constitutional rights are involved. I get uncomfortable when states rights is mentioned, but it's a real concept. That structure extends to the electoral college.

I agree that Wyoming is not the equal of CA or NY. Few states are. But the system is such that a successful candidate can't cherry pick the largest states in terms of population. From a liberal perspective, it would be better if carrying the coasts were enough to secure an election, and we'd probably be more advanced now. But that's not democracy, right?

Lollllll

This is coming from the guy who wouldn't comment on the most important thing on that list earlier, the thing that everyone in this thread is terrified about, because you weren't informed enough.

The sound of scraping? That's the barrel bottom.

just you. didn't and still doesn't seem that important. Also you being terrified is an exaggeration.

See, you say that because you haven't been reading this thread.

Perhaps check out the hashtag #presidentbannon on Twitter and see if all the posts are by me?

What was the word again? Un something...

You realize that ultimately it's not possible and that this thread clearly shows that you are not unbiased.
Sorry. In general I try not to be. But you're right. I support trump and am probably biased. But that's because I'm convinced that the establishment failed so at this point there is no other alternative.

What does this mean? Expand please...

Also, who cares? It's a deflection and not an answer to the questions that have been posed to him.

It's extremely important to realize when you are partisan. In the case of our friend, he is either a liar or he has cognitive issues. No one is going to debate about politics neutrally, you can eventually try to comment it but you can't be on one side of the debate and stay neutral.

Bit of a sweeping generalization there. I like my dad, uncle, and brother, even though they voted for Trump. I like my friends at work, even though they voted for Trump. I just think their political opinion is the worst aspect of their character.

What the establishment failed to do, exactly? And what are the answers provided by Trump to solve that problem?
