The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Everyone who knows anything about finance knows corporate bankruptcy is little more than a shrewd business tool. The whole point about a trade deal is that it's a deal, beneficial to both parties, if he gives us the slippy end of the sh*t stick what incentive does that offer to us to sign it, to others to do deals with the USA in the future? The USA stands to benefit incredibly from a trade deal with ourselves, we are their oldest and closest allies, even without a trade deal we currently have the largest investment relationship existing between two countries in the world. And quite simply we aren't that weak with expensively paid negotiators so stupid that we would roll over and take it up the proverbial should they attempt to shaft us (as if we won't try to shaft them anyway). It also suits our negotiating stance with Brussels perfectly knowing that when they see us they see Trump standing over our shoulder.

See it from Putin's point of view. Does he go anywhere near Crimea if he thinks it means direct conflict with USA?
It's a minor point but we're not their oldest allies.

Not an answer to what I asked. None of what you've written here is related to the problem I outlined.
Look if you want to call it a day then please do. I didn't get what your assertion was coz you didn't state it clearly. If you wouldn't mind, tell me what did you ask coz i'm actually outnumbered here and cannot keep re reading posts t find meanings

I wish there were Trump fans who were actually capable of putting together decent arguments. Pretty weak selection on this forum. Not that I expect it's easy to speak on behalf of him.
Should I try being one? I love playing the contrarian, and have plenty of propaganda to use due to living in a red state. Plus, it can get a bit redundant around here. Let me know. Thanks.

I've given up replying now, he's just twisting stuff, changing the subject, using whataboutism and getting quite rude and condescending in reply, there's just no point. It's also impossible to try to communicate to someone who gives justification for blatant lies and then makes excuses for them saying we shouldn't take him literally on the lies, but then to take him literally on everything else. It's utter madness.

 For fecks sake @unchanged_lineup

It's different in the 'gay' community.

How the hell does a homosexual go out and do so much harm to his 'own' community. Gays have been fighting for decades to stop the bigoted association of pedophilia with homosexuality and here you have this scumbag feeding fire to that narrative.
I'm hoping this is new to public attention and will derail his career.

Are you over the age of 18? If so, congratulations. Where I'm from, that means you can practically do what you want, so knock yourself out. You're welcome.

You said that someone should brief him. I said what's the point when he can blab whatever the hell he wants and someone will go on TV and "interpret" it for him the next day.

Problems:
1. An uninformed president
2. A president who says whatever comes into his head
3. A president who will cause an international incident because of it
4. A president who's not actually in control because he's not controlling the narrative - his surrogates and Steve Bannon are. This is the one that is the most worrying and is happening every day.

All of this is totally different from your example from Cyprus.

That we have to explain it to him.......

Not to mention all the money trump tower got between the election and inauguration. Plus you bet they charge the secret service rent for their offices they have to maintain there because his wife refused to move to DC.
Hasn't this been confirmed also?

Finally Trump fans that came to talk again!
@Alex Styles what do you make of Betsy DeVos as Trumps pick for Secretary of Education?

If you watch that video, do you feel she's suited for the job?

Boom. Cheers Don.

Edit: In case Alex tried to jump in and twist this in some way, this is literally what I posted articles about and predicted about 10 hours ago.
Kudos to you for posting it 10 hours ago, but I also posted the link before this Trump tweet appeared on RC

Here's my earlier post which even contains the video trump is referring to

Isn't it supposed to be France with the support during the revolution and Lafayette? I also don't think that both countries have ever been on different sides.

Direct conflict obviously wouldn't happen since the next step is nukes. So why would any other American politician be incentivized to behave any differently than Obama.
How on earth is the next step nukes? MAD means nukes aren't even worth discussing, the absolute worst case scenario would have been exactly the same fighting we saw anyway except that the Ukrainians would have been supplemented by US troops/equipment and therefore many more times formidable. With Russia already suffering economically and the EU likely to increase sanctions on them they couldn't have sustained their push for long, Putin wouldn't have bothered attempting it in the first place.

But he saw into Obama's mind and saw that all there would be was temporary economic sanction, a price worth paying. Would he have seen the same in Trump's?

Alex will you be happy having your loved ones eat, drink and breath in pollution once the EPA is gutted and all those pesky business unfriendly regulations are tossed aside? When they are sick how will you explain it to them, that it really is a good thing?
Changing the subject I see

Great. Your article doesn't say what my article did though, which is exactly what Trump's tweet says. Address my point.

What's your point?

Ok an uninformed president. Not good, someone should inform him
says whatever comes to his head. many do and have done in the past (i'm sure I could dig up a few things if I had to)
could cause an international incident (true but that never stopped Obama from bombing everyone so they point is not even moot), plus no international incident as of yet.
Can't comment on number 4 as I've not been following

Cypriot haircut of deposits may be irrelevant but tell that to depositors who lost their money overnight because a president lied to them. It's far worse than this Sweden incident which has been blown way out of proportion.

There I've addressed your point. That's my opinion.
