All the courts fall beneath the final judgement of the Supreme Court. A court that over the next 4 years could have 3 or more seats to fill. If a Supreme Court with a clear majority of hardline conservatives is put into place then thats America fecked for the next 20 years. Even Kellyanne Conway says don't judge Trump on what comes out of his mouth but what is in his heart, yet RD here says Trump said there will be repeal and replace of Obamacare on the same day, but the Republicans are the ones destroying it. He'll soon say it's all the fault of the Dems if anything happens to Obamacare. Basically, in his mind, it's the Dems fault for not nominating Sanders. He'll find things 'refreshingly funny' because Trump did something vulgar to someone who he thinks treated Sanders unfairly. At least, we must praise his conviction and belief. I don't see the difference. Trump is historically unpopular (still), and allows the Dems to be on continuous campaign mode and stall. Pence would come in saying bullshit about unity and working together and appear more presidential, it would be harder to oppose him in public like is happening now.
On most policy issues they will be the same (though Trump can be pressured more on things like insurance and soc sec). SCOTUS is fecked in both cases. On foreign policy I'm a little scared of how the current hawkish Dems will team up with the chickenhawk GOP about Russia if Trump is removed because of a Russian issue - it won't be pretty. On Iran, etc. Trump and the GOP are on the same page. On Syria, the GOP and mainstream Dems support, indirectly, ISIS.
So, choose your poison basically.
