 :wenger: She then abstains in the the senate vote yesterday which the republicans won 51-48

Perfect timing. Ducolax commercial during Morning Joe.

I think it was last Superbowl, early in the game around the 1st or 2nd commercial break, a 30 or 60 second ad on a med for opioid induced constipation. I was just thinking "holy crap, that issue must be a lot bigger than I thought".

Majority is effectively 6, thankfully Landrieu the other "Dem" was replaced by the real Republican thing.

His lack of grace and even the tiniest shred of gravitas knows no bounds. Amazing.

He's just a person with no class whatsoever. Unlike in the past during transition periods , he's not even got the basic decency or respect towards Obama to let him finish his term off without him interfering.

A TRIO OF GOP senators have introduced legislation that would cut security, construction, and maintenance funds for U.S. embassies around the world in half until the president moves the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

In 1995, Congress passed a law requiring the federal government to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama all campaigned on relocating the embassy and executing this law. But once in office, every one of them invoked a waiver in the law that allows them to hold off on the move if they deem it necessary to the national security interests of the United States to do so.

Because history suggests Trump might change his mind, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Nevada Sen. Dean Heller introduced the new legislation, which would include real — and dangerous — consequences for U.S. diplomatic staff if Trump refuses to quickly relocate the embassy. The bill would immediately cut in half funding for embassy security, construction, and maintenance until the relocation occurs. In fiscal years 2018 and 2019, it would cut off all security, construction, and maintenance funding worldwide except for the embassy in Tel Aviv until it is relocated.

Ironically, Cruz and Rubio loudly attacked the Obama administration for failing to properly secure the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens were slain in a terrorist attack on September 11, 2012.

I'm aroused by their political evil.

Maybe we were wrong, questioning his intelligence and all that. Big fan, apparently.

Seriously though, I can get over the fact that I have to type in 'Trump twitter' at Google and click on the first link to get an update on the ideas of the next President of the United States of America. It's 2017 after all, and the technical revolution does not stop.

But I only went there to see if he spouted more shite about China this year, which of course he did. And about the nuclear ambitions of North-Korea. Really can't wrap my head around how this behaviour will go down in the history e-books.

Heh. This twitter account is excellent. How Trump would be tweeting if he had even a hint of suitability for the job.

Very good but very depressing :(

Excellent idea that is.

I don't believe Trump will sign the repeal of Obamacare Until they do have a replacement that saves cost.
That's a problem because Obamacare is terrible and will cost too much money and for me I see only two options and is free healthcare or a flat rate low cost insurance -the same to everybody which every doctor and hospital will have to accept. Also every American up to 26 should have free healthcare and medicine so that would take care of the children from poor people.

Good luck with either in the US.

Trump just broke ties with Jim Woolsey, former CIA Director who had been advising him recently, after Woolsey sided with the Intelligence community on the Russian hacks.

you think Trump will be impeached? by the GOP?

I think there's a decent chance it could happen once his popularity wears off, he continues to behave unhinged to where he is attaching GOP politicians, and he is found to have done something impeachable. At that point, I think Democrats and Republicans, knowing that Pence is available, will take action. But to reach that point, we will need at least 6 months or so until Trump's election popularity wears off.
