Trump On Hurricane: "Tremendously Wet"
The President of United States.
The President of United States.
Definitely a success. Apart from the 3,000 dead, obviously. The job that Fema [the Federal Emergency Management Agency] and law enforcement and everybody did working along with the governor in Puerto Rico, I think was tremendous. I think that Puerto Rico was an incredible, unsung success.
More from the President of the United States

feck me! I am so used to his stupid tweets that i don't care about the date anymoreThat was in 2011, but it was still true then.
And parts of the island are STILL without power or clean water now. Also the many thousands that left the island because they lost everything.
This is the type of shit he should be called out on publically. He is disrespecting and insulting every single person who was on that island during that storm. He's ignoring and belittling the harsh truths of how much sufferring and life destrying hardship thousands upon thousands of people went through. He's also ignoring the fact the nightmare is still not over for many on the island. It's fecking bullshit and it's an absolute disgrace he gets to speak like this without the slightest repercussion.
I guarantee you if Theresa May said something like that about The Isle of Wight if something similar happened there, she would be fecking destroyed by the Press and all opposition parties too. In fact, her own party would crucify her and use the truth to remove her from office.
The USA really is starting to look more like the land of pussies than the land of the free. Everyone seems to be shit scared to call Trump on his bullshit and the giant toddler can carry on bullying everyone without reprisal because everyone is scared of his ickle tantrums. It's pathetic.
"The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump. Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort. 10,000 Federal workers now on Island doing a fantastic job."

Reports that his trip to Ireland is cancelled.

If there's a reminder of how much the GOP are charlatans, this is it.
Inevitable. You already have people like Rand Paul on the blower.Wow who could ever have predicted that would happen.
Now on to step 2 of the plan: lose and demand the Democrats balance the budget by cutting social programs.
Lot of water is expected!Donald Trump on Hurricane Florence: "it's tremendously big and tremendously wet".
Good grief...
What happens when you talk about a hurricane but think of your daughter Ivanka.Donald Trump on Hurricane Florence: "it's tremendously big and tremendously wet".
Good grief...

Trump is taking on big business over the Tariffs issue and they are getting ready to try to fight back. Expect a lot more campaign contributions to the Dems over this. At least, he's trying to do the right thing where politicians for the last 40 years have done nothing.
At this point....it's a lost cause. Might as well put Bozo in charge.
Trump told Gary Cohn to 'print money' to lower the national debt, according to Bob Woodward's book
The president also floated an idea for making money from the recent rise in interest rates, according to Woodward.
- "Just run the presses — print money," Trump said, according to Woodward, during a discussion on the national debt with Gary Cohn, former director of the White House National Economic Council.
- Cohn was "astounded at Trump's lack of basic understanding," Woodward writes.
"We should just go borrow a lot of money, hold it, and then sell it to make money," Trump reportedly said.

He wants a billion dollar bill.
The fact that it'll just buy a loaf of bread doesn't matter.
Reminds me of the story of Idi Amin having the governor of the Bank of Uganda killed after he defied Amin's order to print more money.
Honestly, don't see the difference between Trump and the likes of Amin. Comical, yet so dangerous.
He thinks this will work because in business he doesn't pay people back, he just declares bankruptcy or lets lets the firms he owes go into bankruptcy. At this point....it's a lost cause. Might as well put Bozo in charge.

The American economy is huge and they can handle that deficit without major worries. What Americans should be worried about is their crappy healthcare, militarised police and sociopathic warmongers.Am I reading that right that US deficit in a single year is $895bn?
That is what it says, but I'm not sure I can believe it........
I agree about the other worries, but is nobody remotely concerned that the economy is not keeping pace with the deficit and this is even when the economy is doing pretty well? What will happen when things inevitably dip again? The American economy is huge and they can handle that deficit without major worries. The current politicians in the GOP will have retired into cushy lobbying jobs by then. See Ryan, Paul.I agree about the other worries, but is nobody remotely concerned that the economy is not keeping pace with the deficit and this is even when the economy is doing pretty well? What will happen when things inevitably dip again?
The deficit is a result of a massive wealth giveaways to the wealthiest Americans, it's easy to fix through the lower classes rising up and killing the feckers. It's an artifice of corporate rule, not a natural result of government spending.I agree about the other worries, but is nobody remotely concerned that the economy is not keeping pace with the deficit and this is even when the economy is doing pretty well? What will happen when things inevitably dip again?
