The Trump Presidency | Biden Inaugurated

Just watching today s SHS press conference. It was more odd than usual. Like she was afraid and didn't herself even believe half the things she said. She looked extremely agitated and uncomfortable - far more than normal. What a time.

She wanted to get the feck out of there before making a calamitous mistake, which she still managed to do by admitting that Trump was considering allowing Putin to have access to the former Ambassador to Russia to "question him".

Absolute dumbf--kery too, given how many believe him.

It's like that thought problem: "If you had to remove people from earth based on one criteria, what would it be"

Nazis used to be a good choice.
Racists another
And so on.

'Trump supporters' is now the definitive answer.

I know I know... there are good people on both sides. A stable genius once told me that.

(Anyone that dislikes this, just put 'Not' in front of 'Trump Supporters'. That's what I meant to write)

 it couldn't happen to a nicer dirtbag!

Indeed. Though I'd say she looked like she didn't just want to get the feck out of that situation - just seemed like she wanted to get the feck out period. Perhaps that's what you meant.

At least she ll make millions with a book when (or if) the house of cards finally collapses. Imagine being a close observer to all of this and the interest you ll get from all over to hear your story. Wouldn't even be surprised some still hang around Trump just for that reason.

As tempting as that would be, that'd only solve the issue in the US. What about the Brexit lot?

I can't get over how mean, unfriendly, just plain evil Sara Sanders looks. Why would you hire someone like that to talk to the press. I don't believe people are inherently evil, but she makes me question this believe.

She was fidgeting yesterday. She looks desperate.

She makes an annoying sound (when she says "ahhhh") that reminds me of Chewbacca.

"One of our great companies"

I don't recall him saying that when he was complaining about these companies moving all their employment to other countries for the tax breaks.

I miss Spicer. It's easy to forget just how good some of the characters from season 1 of Trump were.

Michael Sheuer is the former head of the CIA's bin Laden unit who famously blamed Bill Clinton for the failure to kill Usama before 9/11. IMO he got some stuff right and some stuff wrong around that time; he's always leaned to the paleoconservative side of things, arguing that US interventions in the Middle East only caused trouble and were conducted largely at the behest of Israel and the Saudis. He was depicted quite negatively in the recent "Looming Tower" series, in contrast to the FBI's John O'Neill (played by Jeff Daniels). Here's what Scheuer had to say about O'Neill after 9/11:

Anyway, he's now gone completely nuts. Some highlights from his blog, amidst a lot of nonsense:

"As this week’s end, it seems likely that it is quite near time for killing those involved in the multiple and clearly delineated attempts to stage a coup d’état against the legitimately elected Trump government and thereby kill our republic...

...The week saw FBI agent Strzok brazenly lie to the Congress, show his own detestation for everyday Americans – it’s their smell, he says — and display facial and other physical quirks that appeared very reminiscent of a demented beaver, a drug addict, or a loyal Democrat...

...this week saw a significant and quickening advance toward the moment when those millions of well-armed citizens who voted for Trump, and who have been abused or wounded by Democrats, their Antifa-thugs, and their thug-civil servants for exercising their franchise to elect Trump, cannot be, in good conscience, patient for much longer.

Fortunately, they have in hand a long and very precise list of the names and photographs of those who hate and threaten them, their families, their way-of-life, their liberty, their livelihoods and their republic. No self-respecting and determined-to-remain-independent citizenry can let themselves forever be held hostage by thug-civil-servants like Strzok, Comey, McCabe, Page, and Rosenstein; worshipers of tyranny, like the Democratic members of Congress, the Clintons, the FBI, and the Obamas; apparent traitors like Brennan, Hayden, and Clapper; all of the mainstream media; and the tens of thousands of government-admitted-and-protected, violent, criminal, and illegal immigrants.

American patriots have so far, praise God, been remarkably disciplined in not responding to tyranny and violence with violence. For now they must remain so, armed but steady. But the time for such patience is fast slipping away; indeed, that patience is quickly becoming an obviously rank and self-destructive foolishness. If Trump does not act soon to erase the above noted tyranny and tyrants, the armed citizenry must step in and eliminate them.

It is, of course, far better if Trump does so, and I pray and believe he will. That said, the sheer, nay, utter joy and satisfaction to be derived from beholding great piles of dead U.S.-citizen tyrants is not one that will be missed if Trump does not soon do the necessary to save the republic. But if he fails, the citizenry must act to ensure that Hillary’s predictive words are proven correct. “If Trump wins,” she apparently said, “we will all hang.”"

"Who knew that not many know what I know now?"

It's amusing how he always feel the need to say "It was Russia but...". Here he mentioned China too and I bet that in a few months he will mention the EU.

Damn I miss the Obama's. Although not perfect and although like @Eboue, I too feel his legacy will be one of missed opportunity, Barack was a trillion times the man Trump is and Michelle is always on point, eloquent and inspirational. Hopefully the pair can come out in force and do what they do best which is talk to people on a personal level, motivate and give hope and inspiration to people whilst always managing to maintain dignity and grace amidst the most horrific and disgusting personal attacks.

It's a good initiative. Get people mobilised so they don't end up with another 4 years of Trump, among other things.
