Put Trump in a room full of black, latin and arabic transgender muslims and within ten minutes he'd be promising extra funding for their causes.
The Democrats know his weakness - the need for approval. A number of times they've managed to isolate him from his advisers and he's promised exactly what they have asked for.

They're all correct, oddly enough. He was very cordial and conciliatory but I think he didn't understand what he was talking about at times. McCarthy's job there was to bail him out, really. "What the President is saying is...".
