This is so true. He doesn't even need to start a full fledged war. Just needs to tweet some b$ threatening a war or test some bomb on a poor country (cue: MOAB) and the media will lap it up and the ratings will skyrocket.

They are effectively Putin's tool, so this does what he wants most, which is weaken the US. That end will ultimately create a bigger void of leadership and he'll look to place Russia into that position where he can.
