How can Mr. Rosenstein continue at the DOJ after this?
I think that queue on the way out is getting longer by the day.
By the half year (or year) mark of his presidency, few will be already out.
I'm guessing this is what Trump possibly wants.

I'm gonna bet that Chris Ruddy was flying a bit too close to the sun and was asked to go back on air and muddy the waters after he blabbed about them "considering" firing Mueller. Especially in light of this tweet.

There's some chatter coming out that Trump may try to fire both Rosenstein and Mueller.
Do any of you think there's actually a legit chance of Trump being impeached?
If he does fire Rosenstein (And appoint another Deputy AG) who in turn fires Mueller, he can be impeached. Isn't that the very thing Nixon did?
He seems to be doing everything in his power to make it happen.

That would be hilarious if he did. Then in typical Trump fashion just carry on as normal. If he does do that, personally I think that's when the GOP will truly have enough.
Impeachment proceedings should already be underway by all rights, but the Republicans control congress and have no desire to do it. Goodness knows what it would take for them to do their jobs.
Flip it the other way and imagine that Obama had fired the head of the FBI and then gone on TV the next day to say he did it because he wasn't happy with the investigation into Clinton's emails... articles of impeachment would be filed immediately by Congress, and rightly so.
