WTF. Acknowledging approval ratings as something he is paying attention to is a ridiculous move in this moment.

"And that's all I have to say about that"What's best about it is the fact he has finally found one he is satisfied with... and it says an equal number of people disapprove.
That's most certainly not the best linear fit. That BS poll has never been lower than 42/43%

Best way to get get Rosentein to fire Mueller and then fire Rosentein himself.
Christ on a bike, if he recuses himself who's in charge of the Russia investigation (and inherits the power to fire Mueller)?
Associate AG Rachel Brand...Christ on a bike, if he recuses himself who's in charge of the Russia investigation (and inherits the power to fire Mueller)?
https://lawfareblog.com/if-rod-rosenstein-recuses-what-happens-nextShe is a Harvard Law School graduate who clerked for Justice Anthony M. Kennedy on the Supreme Court and then-Justice Charles Fried of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Brand previously served as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy, in other lower-level Justice Department jobs, and in the George W. Bush White House Counsel’s Office. She has also served with real distinction on the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB), an independent federal agency that oversees and advises other agencies’ counterterrorism activities. Brand is a conservative lawyer and not everyone agreed with her opinions on the PCLOB, but there is no doubt that she made significant contributions there and was an important voice in the PCLOB’s public output. She thus has extensive Justice Department experience and extensive national security experience. She is also intelligent, fair, independent, and tough-minded.

Not that high, tbh.
This could be massive. Investigators want to know how Russian bots were able to target specific voters in certain swing states. Kushner ran the analytics side of Trump's election, so if there was collusion, it may have been here.
Interesting. Time to get the popcorn?Lawyers having to lawyer up

Erm..........
Un-fecking-believable!
House of fecking Cards
Oh man, I wonder if he will rage quit the Presidency like some people do forums. It would be hilarious if he did and left a nasty note singling out all the people who have attacked him or not supported him enough. Ah well, the thought was nice for a while, if maybe wishful thinking.
Rachel Brand was confirmed in the senate more or less along party lines (52–46) which suggests she's partisan and the Democrats wouldn't be happy with her as the person in charge for Russia related stuff.
Compare that to Rosenstein who was confirmed in the Senate 94-6.
But on the other hand, Comey's friend Wittes vouches for her.
I think that is the Left's best chance to get rid of him. That Trump feels it ain't worth it and he doesn't run again in 2020.
Washington (CNN)Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Friday that it's impossible for President Donald Trump to obstruct justice because of the fact that he's president.
"Technically, the President of the United States cannot obstruct justice," Gingrich said at the National Press Club in an event to promote his new book, "Understanding Trump." "The President of the United States is the chief executive officer of the United States. If he wants to fire the FBI director, all he's got to do is fire him."
However, Gingrich himself has in the past voted to impeach a president over such charges. While speaker of the House, Gingrich voted in 1998 to impeach President Bill Clinton on charges of obstruction of justice and perjury.
