Also, it is not even confirmed as being an update - it could just be maintenance to the servers.

That said, 7 hours is a long time to take them offline, which could suggest that they are making updates to the game...but its just speculation.

Obviously releasing a DLC does not require the servers to be taken offline, so that is why people think there will be changes made to the game itself. That could be in the form of additional mission types, adding another creator type, opening the casino, adding mansions etc.

But who knows!
 
There's not going to be a casino or mansions.

Could be to do with the Rockstar Editor coming to consoles as was announced a while back, but can't see it being anything else.
 
Just a question - why are you sure there will be no mansions / casino - is it a technical reason, or an opinion?
 
After discovering last night that I am indeed continuing to (amazingly) get worse at Rocket League, I figured I would turn back to GTA.

Am really enjoying the races we have been doing recently...and going to muck around in the creator and see what I come up with..

So am curious as to what people like / hate in races. For example, I really like the Long Haul one, as it keeps people relatively close together so makes the racing / contact between each other the fun part. Also, because of the length, even if you are spun out, you almost always have enough time to make up any lost ground.

Do people like more twisty layouts? Laps vs Point to Point? Jumps? Difficult / unexpected turns? Off-road? Only road races, or air races also? City vs desert?

I like the Long Haul one as not one person has a big advantage over the rest. With twisty layouts and random objects placed in the course, its a turn-off imo as more often than not I end up DNFing.

I'm going to be on GTA more as I have decided to trade in fifa 15 in anticipation for MGS coming out in few weeks time then fifa 16

Yeah I may go and trade in Fifa and Batman this weekend, get store credit and keep it saved until WWE 2k16 and Fifa 16.

Anyone of you bollocks on later? @swooshboy you better have found some decent races, gonna have a look on the social club myself.

Haven't looked for any other races = I bookmarked a few the other day, so can play those.

If you find any, add the links here so others can bookmark them as well.

Should be on later - have some work to do in the eve and need to catch up on Suits with the missus.

EDIT - will do the same with FIFA and Batman I think. MGS V on the 1st...will think about Mad Max, then FIFA later in the month.
 
Searching the R* approved lists of jobs is a good place to start as you get a decent description of each one they list - which helps!

DESCRIPTION
Epic circle track built in the air around 4 windmills. 4 times around equals 1 lap. Don't worry about your opponent knocking you off worry about the windmills Lol. Works great with super cars also.

I love the races in GTA no matter what type they are. I've recently been enjoying GTA online quite a lot as well. The races are always a laugh!
 
Just done my own take on the long haul race, it starts and finishes at the top of the map but the only checkpoint is going over the bridges at the bottom of the map, from there its up to you which way you go and it would also be interesting to see how catch up works when you have cars taking different ways to the finish line.
