We don't need a foreign superstar from another league to improve. We need pace, aggression, and the ability to make runs and beat players. Sane would be a good fit for us.
Considering he's had 17 assists in the two seasons here, I think he could be a good rotational player to have. He's been far more consistent than Mane atleast. If you say that Mane's head was turned by a transfer, so was Tadic's.The Serb is talented but too inconsistent overall and has attitude problems at times. I think he's a Europa League level player.

He's a very good player who hasn't delivered consistently this season for whatever reason.
Hot and cold player. Been shit for most of the season. People only seem to notice his few good games for some reason. Not United quality.
He scored a good hat-trick against a heartless City outfit thinking about Tuesday, he's been gash for best part of the season with his stats padded out by mini bursts of scoring. Bad attitude and erratic, we can do better.
He's had a fall out with Koeman/Southampton. That's when his form dipped. Pretty sure he was denied a move.
Yeah, but I was basically thinking we need a player who can contribute more. Our biggest problem has been our final ball into the box. We have the likes of Rashford and Martial who are good finishers (Not Clinical levels yet, but they'll get there). What we need is someone who's good at getting to the byline and putting in a decent cross or final ball. That's why I suggested Tadic. Everything else you said about him is true though, like his age, his ceiling etc, but Mane seems more of a Inside Forward who will get you the goals, but not quite the assists.I think the interest in Mané from top clubs was actually real though. Mané brings explosiveness and big match winning ability, which are two things we need. Tadic isn't really going to bring anything that Mata doesn't, and we have Januzaj who has a higher ceiling than Tadíc.
Plus, Mané just turned 24 and can even play through the middle if required.

Yes please.I'd prefer Mahrez though for definite.
Sulking because he didn't get a move is the bad attitude, he was even moody today when he scored, don't want those kind of prima donnas here unless they are exceptionally gifted, he isn't.
Double standards on here isn't it. People were giving out about Sporting denying Rojo his big move and "forcing" him to threaten to go on strike.
Mané signed the contract, he has to expect Southampton to look after their own interests. If that shithouse Sterling was £48m then Southampton can pretty much name their price for him. These clubs are under less financial pressure than ever to sell either with the TV deal etc
Yes please.
Pay a little extra if you have to, but he would be lethal in a counter-attacking setup.
His first touch and 4:19 is just
I saw him yesterday in West Quay and asked him to beat City for us.
You are all welcome.
He had a quiet patch for a while, went off form, got dropped to the bench for a number of games. Its only been in the last 4 or 5 weeks that he has started playing well again. That may be why there has been so little discussionSurprised at the little talk about us wanting him. The papers link us with every potential target, and i would have thought he would fit under Mourinho nicely. He destroyed them a few times too, so you would think the lazy media would talk up a move but no, nothing since the January transfer window.
City have Arsenal next weekend. If they drop points again, not unlikely after a trip to Madrid on Wednesday, 4th is still on.City losing only made our draw even more frustrating.
Guess we should blame you instead

I think Mane would fit in well with the current United side, being a decent and over priced player that doesnt really have the quality to be a proper United player. Dont want, far better players out there, apart from a much needed injection of pace, he doesnt bring anything to enhance us. He would be a great signing for a side......like Southampton
Mahrez is a funny one though. Last season both Mahrez and Mané played their first PL season and Mané got 10 goals / 3 assists while Mahrez got 4 goals and 3 assists. Nobody even batted an eyelid about Mahrez last season yet some were already talking about keeping an eye on Mané's second season to see how he turns out. Then out of nowhere Mahrez pulls off this outrageous season where he equals/betters the stats from both Sanchez and Hazard last season. We simply have to do better than Mane at all costs. If we want the top 4 battle to be the most we can achieve then sign players of his ilk up but if we are one of the biggest clubs in the world lets sign some actual top players like Mahrez, or top potential like sane.
To be fair anyone that watched the last 10 game or so of last season would tell you that Mahrez was the best player as he hit some excellent form. Obviously he then stepped up again to a higher level but i think we have to be all over him this summer as he would just be perfect for us on the right. Hes got pace, dribbling and most importantly and eye for goal and nothing ive seen of him this year suggests it a flash in the pan either. £40-50 million and hed be ours im pretty sure.Mahrez is a funny one though. Young I would be happy to see go - he has been a good squad player but if we want to rebuild we need young players with potential... and thats why I'm not sure about DepayI'd get rid of both Young and Depay and sign Mane instead. A good squad player who can step in as a starter if required.
