Guess he's gone would be the best for both. We'll never know if he's truly injured or not, even after he leaves imo.

I understand why he'd like to leave but hell, could he'd be a bit more professional and give us some help here given how much we've and are paying him ?

Pretty clear to me he and his fat twat buddy is forcing a move but isn't it's fair and better for both sides if he'd help us out this tough time then leave? Fans would remember him as a professional and hold him in some regards. The way it currently is will just do no good for him imo.
I mean we will if he plays this season cause there be no reason to fake an injury and then end up playing anyway.

Although I'm sure someone will make a theory.

Laurie Whitwell commented on yesterday's Athletic post-match Q&A that Ole would get rid "if he could guarantee getting a replacement, which Woodward hasn't proved particularly adept at".

The problems at this club all seem to come back to Woodward.

And the thing is when Pogba needs we will need more than a replacement. We will also need to be adding another cm a number 10 and potentially a rw and lb.

Seemed to be moving around perfectly fine on the 30th December

Jump to 1.08 no sign of any cast/support seems to be moving around quite freely on both feet

That doesn't mean there is nothing wrong. These kind of things are best sorted before they affect a players career long term.

Walking and running for 90 minutes are different thing entirely.

His contract is up next year right? He'll surely be off in the summer then can't see him wanting to stay.

Always a theory with our fans. Also his people where clearly right if his ankle is still flaring up.
Didn't Pogba do his own recovery for 3 months, with his own trainers and specialists? Why didn't they advise on a surgery when the problem happened initially, why did they wait for it to get complications on 2 different occasions before saying the player needs operation?

At this point, Pogba would have missed 5-6 months of the season. It's unacceptable for us as a team and fanbase. And the board is at fault the most for this, when will the matchgoing fans make them responsible for destroying our beloved club?

No, the recovery was taken care by the club. They sent him away for rehab as they did with Shaw and Matic.

Rather than Pogba wanting out there really seems to be a portion of the fanbase intent on forcing him out.

Pogbas heart has never been at United and he should of been sold last summer but I can't see any logical reason why he would fake an injury although there's definitely more to the story than meets the eye. If it is a recurring problem then any potential buyer will be thinking twice. No one is going to be spending 100m+ on a player if there's any doubt about his long term fitness, so he would be risking a move away. Any type of surgery and he's out for at least 2 or 3 months which would make him making the Euros very tight.

The best I can hope for is he ready has a deal made with Madrid or the Juve for a move in the summer. If he doesn't want to be here then he should just go because there's no point in keeping an unhappy player no matter how good they are or think they are.

It is very weird. Is there any other club in the world where a substantial part of the fanbase wants to get rid of their best player?

One of only three Manchester United players who is able to do something special and win the game because of that. Out of those three he is also the one most likely to do something special...

Tbf I've seen no fan here really want to get rid of him. It is him who want to leave not the fans to want him to leave.

People just got too tired with his and his fat twat agent endless rants, bad mouthing the club, wanting to leave ... to a point that they think he'd better leave. If they haven't said all that no one would want him to leave imo.

Honestly I'd really like him to stay, such a talented player. However based on what he and his agent have said and done so far he'll leave imo. Even sounds like this Jan to me.

The majority want him to stay and sign a new contract, I want that as well but if he is going to play us, Ole and the club around, then feck him, feck Raiola and feck their whole circus entourage of clowns, including those 2 brothers that can't stop talking about the actually famous Pogba of the family.

Well I do remember people wanting Ronaldo to f off and saying we would be a better team when he left, he never scored in big games etc. so I guess we do have previous though to be fair Ronaldo was always aching for a move. MY main fear is that if we do sell him, we'll never attract a player of similar quality and be left praying one of the young ones develops into a world-class talent.

Pogba had the surgery today apparently. Played through pain in both cameos according to the mail.

Clearly letting it heal wasn't working. Sensible decision to get the surgery.

We do seem to have a club issue rushing players back. We do it with mcTominay and Rashford a lot too. I know it's out of desperation but it's a terrible practice and is detrimental to the players at times.

Some of us don’t like him picking up £15m a year for not much in return

We got plenty big players who do much less and earn a feck tone. Jesse and Shaw the highest paid full back in the world. Where your energy for them.

And don't say atleast they play because you simply cannot judge a player for being injured. Like you's talk like this is a pattern with Pogba but this the first season he isn't playing.

Missed a hell of a lot games in 2018 as well, what’s the denominator? World Cup and Euros.

My word :lol::lol:

Where is his credit for the numerous seasons he played without a pre season? You know after the world cup he came back and was ready for match 1 of the Prem with no training.
His first season too.

Why because he is fitter than most. Not a lot of players can do that. Your Rooney's or De Bruynes couldn't. But yeah I'm sure he doesn't get credit for when he cut his allowable holidays short to come back.

According to the media, United want £150m for Paul Pogba. Tranfermarket's estimate for his value is about £87m. I guess the most anybody wants to pay for him is £90m.

This (Woodward's unrealistic appetite to make money here) is the primary reason why he wasn't sold in the Summer and why he's still not being sold. The £60m+ gap in expectations is a huge obstacle. Which could explain why Raiola is trying to turn toxicity up. Making Pogba toxic for the club may be the only way to let him escape, at significant discount from Woody's expectations.

For Pogba to be faking an injury, he would need to be very close to an agreement on transfer with some club. There are zero indications of anything like that, and it would be hard to hide if talks were that advanced. So maybe everybody should stop attacking his character and accusing him of not playing due to imminent transfer, where there is none.

Of all Woodward’s poor decisions, I don’t think this is one. Far too long have we been overcharged and underpaid for players. If Coutinho is worth 140m (I think?) Pogba is definitely worth the same. He’s a World Cup winner about to approach his prime years. A lot of top clubs are also in need of new centre mids like Real Madrid and Barca.

The club will never sell for 90m, not until there's only a year left on his contract. He's worth way more and is extremely marketable to boot.

As for Raiola turning it up? It seems he's saying Pogba wants to stay but that he should be playing for a club that can win things, he goes on to say the World needs a strong United.

What is his agent really saying wrong there? If anything he's saying "get your act together and act like a giant club, else sell players like Pogba and act like a 6th place side".
He's bang on, Paul Pogba left Juventus to join a Manchester United Mourinho/Zlatan revolution, what he's been served for the past two season is shit on a stick with no sign of it getting any better any time soon. If we wanna act like we can do 3 years outside of the CL to build a project with an unproven manager, let the top player's like Pogba leave because players like him don't have time for that shit. Prime Roy Keane, Wayne Rooney, Ferdinand, Ronaldo would've been first out of the door during this shitshow.

Right, and them not selling for 90M is why Pogba hasn't gone anywhere.

The thing Raiola is doing "wrong" is trashing United. He said he would never bring anybody to us and that we could ruin even the best. You do realize how toxic that kind of statement is, right? Does not matter if he has a sliver of truth or not, it's extremely disrespectful. Imagine somebody representing you talking trash about your employer, publicly? That shit would not sit well with you unless you were also in on it.

So if this whole shit show is true then it's shockingly poor decision making from everyone involved not to perform surgery earlier. He's been walking around with the same injury for 5 months they should have made the decision a lot sooner rather than trying to let it heal naturally which it obviously wouldn't. Having him out for such a long time has costed us not only in terms of points but when he does eventually get sold in the summer it will be for a much lower fee due to this season.

Probably a tactical masterplan by Raiola to tell him not to do surgery so he'll be out for more than half a season to try and lower the fee for Real. Summing up his time here since his return it's safe to say it's been nothing other than a massive disappointment. Personally can't wait to see him gone regardless of his talents.

The truth is never disrespectful, it's simply the truth.

Too many people keep their mouths shut regarding United, as I said above, the likes of prime Keane, Ronaldo, Rio, Rooney would've been first out of the door during this shitshow and would not have minced their words as to why.

According to 'The Sun' his career is officially over at United. Been over about six times since he joined us so I wonder if the seventh time is the one which is true?

Tell that to all the posters who went apeshit when Jose talked about "football heritage".

Whether it's the truth or not, the context definitely matters. For Raiola to say this now is nothing but unsettling for the player, and hence the team. He's at war with the club and I hope United use their leverage to pressure for reform at UEFA and FIFA with regards to agents. This has gone totally out of hand. A slime ball like Raiola gets tens of millions for being a middleman. That money needs to be far better invested than being siphoned off like that by people who provide nothing positive whatsoever to the sport.

There simply must be quite a few big clubs who refuse to deal with Raiola.

If Pogba was man enough to speak his mind about the club's lack of ambition, I'd respect that. But he's letting this subhuman do his talking and that's extremely unhelpful.

It's an aggravation of a previous injury that Pogba spent months rehabbing, but according to Ole it's "nothing major". OK.
