What a player.
What a player.
When you’re ready to move on from the hyperbole we can have a proper debate. We all know where United ‘should’ be & 27% possession in a win isn’t it.
Fred was representing Manchester United at home to Citeh when we lost 3-1 was he not bothered? Or were expectations not important that night cause it wasn’t Pogba? He was also present for the 0-2 loss against Burnley.
I like Fred & McTom but saying they deserve a place in the team over Pogba based on an exceptional run vs their regular level is infact giving them ‘a free pass’.
Pogba may not be the answer in the long run but for ‘Manchester United football club where the expectations are higher, and by quite some distance, than at any football club in England.’ you can’t honestly think Fred & McTom are the answer long term either.
So when Pogba plays badly, he can’t be bothered & when Fred & McTom play badly it’s everyone else’s fault?
I respect your posts on here but your blind spot with Pogba is huge.
What a player.
Genuinely think he's the best crossfield/long ball passer in the world. The way he just pings them with such little effort really is beautiful to watch.
It's not only that he reaches them also but the power he just nails perfectly so the receiver is not over reaching or having to take a big touch, it just falls gently into their feet
Kroos is definitely of the same calibre, but I don't remember him playing as many over the top like Rashford v Tottenham last year etcI think Kroos is probably better. But there aren't many as good as Pogba
he’s capable of doing things in a split second to open the game up.
It's a funny word hyperbole, it's not something that ever came up in casual conversation and the only place i'd ever see it is in books/magazines, I swear till the age of 47/48 I thought it was pronounced hyper ball, anyway that's enough about how dumb I was/am.
.
Class.
Here’s to Pogba & the team this evening
Absolutely agree. Was so much better when Matic came onHe should not be playing as a no. 6. Ever. He'll always give away goals, then. Has to have a DM behind him, so he can unfold and play his natural game.
Its definitely this Had the Palace goal not been ruled out he would start to get more heatDon’t think he played well. Not awful but not good. Bruno arguably gives the ball away more often but somehow in a less infuriating manner. Not sure if this is because we’re still in a honeymoon period
Maybe it’s because Bruno tends to give up possession trying to speed the game up but Pogba gives it away when he’s trying to slow the game down?

I agree McT is not . We need to get someone who can replace Matic so we can get the best out of both Pogba and BrunoMctominay is no DM and it forced Pogba and Bruno so deep just to try get the ball out of our third in the first half especially.
Thought Pogba was alright.

I saw thisHe helped us manage the result in the second half. Nothing spectacular and did a job for the team.
Yes he in insanely productiveMaybe. Although even taking away the honeymoon period good vibes his productivity is insane. Another assist tonight and the width of a post away from another goal. When you’re as ridiculously productive as he is, it’s hard to bear a grudge about misplaced passes. The gulf in final third stats between him and every other attacking midfielder we’ve tried since Scholes and Giggs retired is absolutely enormous.
This is definitely honeymoon bias. I recall in the 6th minute Bruno gave the ball away while attempting to dribble out of a press in the defensive thrid.Don’t think he played well.
