My understanding is that it's the club that dealt with it the first time and it seems that after two diagnosis from the club, the player decided to have the opinion of someone else.
Which is a totally embarrassing situation for both the player/his entourage and the club. At this point, Pogba will play only a third of the season, we could have sold him in the summer and not felt the difference.

You saw him have a cameo in a game where he didn't play?

Edit: And I forgot, SAF didn't let him go, it's in his book.

I was referring to his previous cameo against Watford and obviously not today's game. I assumed folks could figure that out without being spoon fed...

Regardless, Pogba will be out of the club this year and we can move on.

He didn't play during the charity game and he didn't look fine against Newcastle, he was limping after the clash that @GifLord posted.

Why would it be embarrassing for the player?

No you said he played in a charity game. Which is a lie. He sat on the sideline and managed a charity game.

Terrible person how dare he use his day off to sit close to a football pitch and make money for the less fortunate. Must be the reason he needs this new surgery. What was he thinking. Get him out!

I think I'm getting the hang of this irrational hatred thing.

You said he has his own doctor, what was he doing when the injury first happened and Pogba decided he wanted to play against Rochdale and Arsenal?

Also, not playing for the majority of the season is embarrassing for any player, especially before a big international tournament in the summer. And it's so funny how after the summer of Pogba hinting of wanting to move, he has barely played all season. A total coincidence, for sure.

Well your wrong. He didn't play in a charity game. He managed it.

Also Ole said his injury galred up again. So thateans it didn't heal great.

Obviously they hope the injury would heal itself and decided against an operation a few months ago. Clearly it didn't heal so well so he needs the operation.

This has happened to a million players and if people weren't so blinded by hatred and reporting false facts then maybe they would see that.

He doesn't help himself on social media or by letting his agent speak for him, it just casts him in a poor light.

At the end of the day he has been underwhelming at times and brilliant on occasion, I hope I'm wrong but I just dont see him sticking with Utd through the difficult times ahead.

I'm talking about this time, you seem to think that he has a doctor following him around. And being injured is never embarrassing that's a very weird outlook.

True. But none of that makes the lies and misinformation spread ok. He is injured it really is that simple.

And no he won't stick around most likely. He done his time here. The owners didn't do enough to build a good team. He won't waste anymore of his prime here.

None of our previous players like Rooney would have stayed at a team like this. Despite it all and even if you think he hasn't been good enough he is a whole lot better than we are sadly.

To me it's like De Gea, When he wanted to leave I didn't blame him cause he was better than us too. And at this stage De Gea is almost a cautionary tale as he stayed waiting for us to improve but the club is run so bad it only regressed.

Wanting to leave ain't a crime and it's hardly surprising. If you where a good player would would want to play for a continually regressing United? I wouldn't personally.

When I was referring to his cameo I had genuinely meant his recent PL appearance and not the charity game.

I had however made a mistake saying he played, he managed them rather than played, that was a mistake rather than a lie.

After being so close to returning after surgery he should have been with the team rather than with his brothers for that game.

Well, I'm talking about this whole injury as a singularity, because it's been the same problem since the beginning. It's obviously not a "minor" issue if it requires two surgeries, or there is something else going on here. Pogba's people, our people, everyone involved is a fecking liability if they can't protect and help the recovery of the player. But it can't be a mere coincidence that Pogba barely plays all season after the summer we had with him.

It was in Sunday, Everyones day off. The team weren't together?

Which is why he went to an outside consultant this time around because the club allegedly misdiagnosed the injury.

Sure, after more than half the season is done, it's time for another surgery. Incredible timing, just as we lost another vital CM, whilst Raiola has been mouthing off for the last week against our club. Just a coincidence though. :smirk:

Regardless if he has an injury need an operation “apparently” he should not be flying off to do his own thing when he’s already had 3 fecking months off. fecking day off my arse.
Injured. No charity work. Got it. I'll inform Bailly and Dalot so they don't make the same mistake :lol:

Christ you’ve pulled them 2 names out the bag about five times today. When you have been injured for so long pulling out of a charity gig is more than understandable especially if an operation is needed. Happens all the time in testimonials where players pull out last minute because they are professionals with a job to do. Unless Pogba isn’t arsed about when this “operation” takes place or when he is fit to come back?

Just watched the Ole presser, I feel sorry for the bloke as he does not have a clue what is going on with Pogba.

Our predicament is so funny indeed. I hope you continue laughing when we continue to lose games with a depleted squad and non-existent midfield.

Nope, but we lose cause we are a terribly run club. Remember before we owned Pogba? We where crap and we are still crap now.

Owners and hierarchy is the problem.

I just truly don't see the difference going around Manchester and sitting at the sideline of a football game. How is one worse than the other?

Cause if he didn't manage the charity game he would still have had the day off as the club gave it to everyone. So unless he lied in bed the entire day his ankle situation would be no different to managing a football game?

I just fail to see the correlation?

Not a coincidence, just terrible planning we only have 3 useful CM's. If we had more this injury wouldn't be that big a deal.

Yes, they are the problem and what are the fans doing about it? Nothing. Feck all. Moaning and complaining about players and manager, as if they can suddenly change the whole structure and operation of the club. The majority of our fanbase is full of deluded people, I hate to say that but it's true.

No use posting that in the Pogba thread. If you're worried for the midfield, post it in the Woodward and Ole threads.

Of course having only 3 useful CM's and praying for no injuries is an issue throughout a long season in the Premier League.

Of course it's terrible planning, when Pogba wanted to leave in the summer, we should have sold him and bought 2 quality midfielders to cover the CM and CAM position. It's not very difficult if you have an efficient system of operations and competent people at board level, we have neither of those though.

Yup and that's for Ole and the recruiters to bear, not Pogba. If we had a decent backup for him we wouldn't even have rushed him back in the first place.

Now vitriol is being aimed at him for being injured, all due to incompetence from above.

I have done it since the summer, the problem is a majority of our fanbase is blind and doesn't want to point the finger at Woodward and the board, who ultimately have destroyed our club. We are finished. only a miracle can turn back this season around and our future as a whole.

Given the current situation, it would be surprising if we don't sign some midfield cover soon, but honestly I wouldn't be shocked.

We are not signing players in January, Haaland was the only option the club was working towards and he went to Dortmund in the end. Our board and CEO are fecking pathetic.

The show i'm watching just showed Giggsy a Pogba tweet or something similar of him sitting down in front of a screen in a car or room; I couldn't tell. The comment he wrote was; What a great way to start the new year. Giggsy didn't seem impressed and I would of thought that helping his side to beat Arsenal would have been a better start for the year.

It’s obvious the show is trying to get Giggsy to react to Pogba, and perhaps they already knew Pogba needed a surgery but didn’t let Giggsy know. Just shows how the media wants United to get rid of their best player. Has that show or Giggsy ever gone on a rant against Lingard who is the worst #10 in the history of our club? Or have they gone on a rant against Ole for continuing to start Lingard and give him minutes?

So the club said he needs an operation or the consultant?
Comedy hour all around.

According to this even Ole says it has to be sorted so what's everyones problem?

Another mysterious injure I guess. Reminds me exactly of the situation with Herrera last season.

Ole just basically said no one has an idea what the injure is but it has to be sorted. The it here was actually referenced to the injure in question or the whole situation? Who knows but if he actually means the later then what he said means this is already out of his hands and someone else must sort this out, i.e Ed and co imo. That's the way I'd understand it.

We'd better just accept that he's gone and move on guys.

I feel for Pogba. I really do. The prognosis from his own private medical team (Which is Raiola dressed in a white coat, stethoscope around his neck, holding a clipboard and looking concerned) is that poor old Paul, will not be fit again until 5 minutes before Euro 2020 starts.

It's a devastating blow to Pogba, who was desperate to help the club he supported for 3 minutes a few years ago (when we offered him more money than anyone else), through a difficult period.

This....exactly this. We may as well sell him in January as his heart clearly isn't in it.

Guess he's gone would be the best for both. We'll never know if he's truly injured or not, even after he leaves imo.

I understand why he'd like to leave but hell, could he'd be a bit more professional and give us some help here given how much we've and are paying him ?

Pretty clear to me he and his fat twat buddy is forcing a move but isn't it's fair and better for both sides if he'd help us out this tough time then leave? Fans would remember him as a professional and hold him in some regards. The way it currently is will just do no good for him imo.
