There's no way of knowing if that's actually Pogba. Treat it as doom mongering bullshit unless it's proven otherwise

Exactly. The press write shit and if it fits our agenda, its the truth. Can someone on here post me anything at all where he has said he wants to leave? I'll accept hes not happy here but who the feck is? Manager? Fans? So we can say we arent happy but he cant?

It probably is. And that’s annoying. His performances fell off a cliff as soon as Sanchez took his place as best paid player at the club. Literally walking around the pitch. I don’t think that’s a coincidence and it’s an absolute disgrace.
Oh yes absolutely, I would ship him out, but I think they'll get rid of Mourinho before Pogba because of his worth on the commercial side of things. The glazers are more than happy being in the top 4 reaching the latter stages of the Champions League than actually winning those competitions, winning would be just an added bonus.

That logo looks suspisciously like the Juventus logo. Transfer confirmed.

France get the normal haircut, sensible Pogba. One day back in Manchester and we get the stupid hairstyle Pogba back :D

Honestly, dont give a feck if he goes tbh. Get a good fee or exchange for players that fit us more. The guy left at the first sniff of money when Sir Alex was our manager, ran back to be the biggest transfer, then a couple of seasons (of mostly pretty shit performances and walking around the pitch) later wants to leave again. Everyone knows Mourinho wont last long. I understand some like Martial wanting to leave. Pogba is just the ultimate mercenary though. Really dont give 2 fecks about him especially with how he's played for us.

He locked down on a 4 year contract so we should just tell him that either He plays for us or spends the rest of that contract rotting in the reserves.

This is exactly how I see it too.

1) He left in the first place.
2) I can't stand all this Instagram bollocks.
3) His performances compared to the fee paid have been generally poor.
4) If he really is stirring shit up to leave again then he can just go.
5) I didn't think he was amazing in the World Cup either. He did look good but some of that was comparing it to his United performances.

What's the big deal? Isn't that how everyone gets their hair cut? Out the back, few cuts here and there, kickabout, some arts and crafts and then back to the haircut.

He's the only player in our squad who can be considered world class except Sanchez who's declining soon. Selling him would make our squad as poor as it was when Mourhino inherited it and that combined with City's dominance and Liverpool's resurgence would completely destroy any chance of us catching up in the next 3-4 years. It's not just about Pogba as a player but what he represents. Signing Pogba was supposed to show the world that United are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed whereas selling him now would just send the message that we are giving up as a top football club and will now compete with Arsenal and Tottenham for 4th place.

Not gonna caught up into this hate fest, just because the guy enjoys summer and it's definitely not his fault that he became hot shit on the market after winning World Cup. If you can't stand him after this summer, better get used to it because other biggest club will most likely make offers for him in not so distant future.

I expect him to be fully fit and in match rhythm on Spurs.

Sorry but that is nonsense.

He has not looked like a World Class player since he arrived. At 25 he should be way more consistent.

If we can get north of 160m for him either in cash or players that we want then I wouldn't miss him.

He already looks like he wants to go again - nobody is bigger than the club. Especially someone who hasn't done the business yet.

That he's angling for a payrise sounds believeable the more one thinks of it. That's how the 350k salary Barca was allegedly offering him conveniently found its way to the press. Insanely disrespectful to the club that our players and manager spam this tactic to secure new contracts. Doesn't set a great precedent everytime we let them get away with it

@The Cat

1) He left in the first place.
To start for one of the top teams in Europe, because he couldn’t get a game here. Turned out to be the right move. The same people saying this who criticise the Chelsea lads for staying.
2) I can't stand all this Instagram bollocks.
One of the reasons why players like him cost so much. You don’t have to follow him.
3) His performances compared to the fee paid have been generally poor.
As have just about everybody in our team. Maybe something more to it?
4) If he really is stirring shit up to leave again then he can just go.
Fair point. But would anyone on his level want to come here to replace him?
5) I didn't think he was amazing in the World Cup either. He did look good but some of that was comparing it to his United performances.
Nonsense. Comfortably one of the best players in the tournament. Out m-performed some of the favourites on here by miles too

Isn't it interesting how these stories always come out right before the start of a new season, when the journalists are competing to get clicks on their websites.

The stories about Gareth Bale or De Gea come out right before we play Madrid, then disappear the next week.

If Pogba were going to do this, he wouldn't be doing it just before the transfer window closes. It's too late. Anyway, I don't see the guy that way.

I think this is just media lies concocted by the usual suspects since they don't have any actual matches to talk about yet.

Alexis has just demanded we sign players of the quality of Vidal....imagine the meltdown if Pogba came out with such demands ?

Someone said Kante made Pogba look good at the World Cup, imagine if Pogba had performed like Kante did in the final, he was truely woeful, the headlines would've been unbelievable.

The double standards surrounding Pogba are bizarre

Why not post the actual quote?

At United we have to sign big players, with experience," Sanchez told Sky Sports. "Barcelona just signed Arturo Vidal, who is a great player and my team-mate from Chile. He is an example of the type of players we need to sign in order to win trophies and compete at the highest level.

"From what I've seen in training, Fred is a player who always wants to get forward, he is always trying to get forward and from a personal point of view I think we'll be able to combine well and it will be good for my game."

If that exact same quote came from Pogba I’d be delighted. That’s the sort of commitment to the United cause that’s been distinctly lacking from the Pogba camp this summer. So I’ve no idea what you mean about double standards.

He doesnt even deserve the so called pay rise he's looking for if the rumors are true with his hot and cold performances sine he rejoined us.

Him and Sanchez deserve massive pay cuts for their abject performances both have given the fans since arriving.

That's the only way to get a Pogcut. Get it all on Pogcam. While kicking the Pogball. Then it's back to the Poghouse.

I seem to remember he actually calls everything Pog-blah blah. The twat.

I remember before the WC saying on here that my brothers mate was on Madrids staff plane to the champions league final and there was “allegedly” talk of Pogba being offered to Madrid as Pogba doesn’t see his future in Manchester anymore and JM doesn’t want him anymore.

Seems that there was some element to story being true. His agent putting him in the shop window to see who’s interested? Angling for a payrise? Who knows.....

For all we know JM and Pogna could of cleared the air and both are on good terms.

We need a world cup winner in our starting 11 and Im certain he will stay, this season at least. The confidence and lessons he will bring to players like Fred, Pereria ( spelling excused ) and other youngsters around the squad having a WC winner is priceless. If he does want a pay rise, give him what he wants!

Hopefully he starts Friday night or at least be on the bench.

Really.......I'm thinking everything I've ever seen you post about Pogba is negative, so I don't see how him demanding we sign players of a certain quality or pointing to other clubs players and saying we need better players than we have, would change that. I think you'd say he has no right to determine who we do or don't sign. That's the managers job and not his and that he should spend more time worrying about his own performances.

If you were honest of course..

Double standards
