Because statistics. It is the right thing to do.
Is it though? Get it and you are golden, but miss it and you now need to score a td and get the 2pt conversion just to tie. The league success rate on 2 pt conversions this season is 31%, so the chances of scoring 2 on one of those is still not as good as kicking both extra points.

Insane. Looked like a computer game move, legs shouldn’t be able to move and change direction like that.

The Panthers are really hanging with the Chiefs today. Worst 9-1 team in NFL history.

It feels like there is basically just one single team in the league you can safely assume to put away mediocre opposition right now.

Why is no one crying about the referees in the Chiefs game today?

Why is no one crying about the referees in the Chiefs game today?
Because we've gotten used to it and no one wants to give them more attention than need be. They barely beat the worst team in the NFL. Next.

They're busy talking about the plucky Chiefs overcoming the mighty Panthers
Perhaps the plucky Chiefs might have overcome the mighty Panthers much sooner if the yellow flags didn't come out on most critical plays in favour of the home team.
