Sacked in the morning.
There’s still a decent chance Arsenal take it next year, in my opinion. In a scenario where Liverpool lose Salah, VVD, and Trent, and Pep doesn’t rediscover the mojo, they will be in a good position. He's won one 1 cup the whole time he's been there.
The win against City was great, but they were wobbling a bit before that and failed to capitalise on Liverpool's little wobble.
On the 1 hand, he's taken Arsenal as far as he can take them, on the other, can anyone else take them any further?

Except we’re not even entertaining to watch.Nah they are Spurs under Pochetinno version 2.
It looks like Salah and Van Dijk have put pen to paper and prolonged their stay. Arsenal have to spend serious money on a striker, winger and probably some defenders. City will be back and i do think Chelsea are dangerous. There’s still a decent chance Arsenal take it next year, in my opinion. Yeah, great coach, that Edu.Edu resurrected Arsenal, not Arteta.
He's like this guy who dates the hottest girl in town, makes amazing love but just can't cum to make her pregnant.
A lot of Arsenal's behaviour against City screamed small-time and a lack of classNow this is small-time. Murderous regime backed twats and have zero class, no surprise.

It’s from a previous match where Arteta was moaning about a different ball being used.Context?
Have not really followed this match
Arsenal fans are one of the worst at it so if any comes back on them, they deserve it.I really can’t stand this social media banter era
Context?
Have not really followed this match
Arteta's comments after the first leg about the ball having a negative impact on how his team played.
Newcastle are mocking Arsenal with the post.
You can at least understand the reason behind it. We lost the title to them 2 seasons in a row and there's obviously some bad blood after the game earlier this seasonA lot of Arsenal's behaviour against City screamed small-time and a lack of class
Could they really do that when TNT and Sky Sports do the same nonsense? How long till the PL come down hard on banter tweets? If they're going to take away celebrations, unfunny tweets can surely go next.
I understand all the context, but I think leave the bantering to the fans. Arsenal have set themselves up to be targeted now with the whole not 'staying humble' reaction of the players. Great performance and win against City, but it's 3 points and a game they were expected to win. Bank it and move on without any of the nonsense like shouting in Halland's face and mocking his celebration, leave all that to the fans. If Arsenal end up winning nothing again this season, they set themselves up for more mocking from opposition fans and media. You can at least understand the reason behind it. I've got no idea why Newcastle seem to think we're their rivals
Opposition fans and the media are going to mock and criticise us no matter what, might as well have a little fun with itI understand all the context, but I think leave the bantering to the fans. fair points, I'd just like to see less of the banter stuff from players and clubs via social media etc. No need for Newcastle to post about the ball, leave it to the fans. And before anyone says it, I'm not great fun at parties, don't like them.Opposition fans and the media are going to mock and criticise us no matter what, might as well have a little fun with it
Football would be incredibly boring if you're only allowed to mock your rivals if you win a trophy
They'll always be the wee club in the North East.Newcastle see themselves as the rival of every top 6 side because they are rich now.
The frustrating bit was that we looked to have solved this in the early part of 2024 (save the ghastly Villa game). It's one step forward 2 steps back at the moment with us.Trying to think what the games against Newcastle remind me of, and realised it's a throwback to Arsenal games against Mourinho's Chelsea.
That's not an insult by the way, they play to their strengths, they can sit back, allow Arsenal to come on to them, are very solid and organised in defence, and then they transition with speed, exploiting Arsenal's high line with our defenders being isolated against their quick, quality forwards. They play with great intensity as well.
Meanwhile Arsenal play right into their hands, build up to slow, allowing the back line to settle and get organised, and we find it difficult to break down until eventually they get the ball back and break at speed again.
Very naive from Arsenal and Arteta, and something they need to solve going forward.
