I rate your optimism but I disagree, especially with the bolded part. He ghosts through games too often to be held in such high regard. A neat and tidy player on the ball, for sure, but too often anonymous in the final third to be considered a class player. If he imposed himself on the game more then I'd warm to him but he lacks the end product. He's a backup squad player on one of our highest salaries.I he think bags one and he’ll go on a run as in he’ll be a lot more dangerous around the box. He’s a class player who more often than not picks the correct option. That will be important when we will probably have less of the ball. The manager is doing the right thing rotating but I think Mount is slowly playing himself into his best 11. I expect him to start against city. Tough game and the most regular posters will be in here calling him useless. He’s got to bury one of those chances tonight though. Poor finishes
Hope he proves me wrong and starts racking up some G&A soon but I just don't see it unfortunately.
