Decent forward player outside of the top 6 but he wont influence the games against the better opposition now.
Get as much out of him this season and move him on in the summer.

United need a better quality of forward now.

And to be clear I don't think he's great but the clear unfair abuse he gets from his own fan base is vile.

So he did play well, clearly. And keep scoring 2 goals a game? Ai, doesn't seem like you have an agenda like the rest of them.
Why are you so whiny? He needs to either score regularly, or play well. Preferably both. The problem is that his general play is usually terrible, so when he's not scoring he's a huge liability for the team.

You said he's awful at everything, scored twice on Sunday.

Sit down pal.

An hour later, from a game I didnt expect much from, and Im still reeling at how bad he was. How he let down his teammates who did their best, and his manager. I don't think he did a single thing that amounted to a positive input and you compare him to diallo on the other side, who spent the best part of 15 months sitting on the bench watching this guy mope about.

He's finished here. Nowhere near good enough and is past his peak which is when you cut a player loose. If nobody matches his wages then he can sit on the bench. Just a nothing player.

Typical obnoxious comment from somebody who's as clueless as it gets.

He is not wro g though in that there are plenty of players getting pelters, even if I agree with you that it was phrased in an obnoxious way.

Well after scoring against Everton I thought Rashford would start tonight (same for Amad). Poor cameo and especially poor corner conceded from which they scored their 2nd. It's a team that's so good at scoring from corners and players should be looking not to concede many, and the one he gave away was really cheap.

I actually think Rashford has been better this season than last and if he wasn't on such huge wages, we wouldn't be against him as backup option. But 350k contract that was signed until 2028 is really annoying.

The sooner we sell him, the better. In a sulk because he didn't start and didn't try a leg when he came on. And to top it all off, gave away the stupidest corner of all time which led to their 2nd goal.

And aside from the questionable attitude and workrate, the bottom line is that's he just not a very good footballer.

The fact that various players underperformed tonight but you lot come here straight away after a poor cameo when we were already on the back foot is pathetic.

Hope he leaves for his own sake.

The highest (or second highest) paid player at the club who has been here since a kid, is a manc and is supposed to be the star of the team, the one player who knows the history of the club, the expectations of the fans and the players that came before, that player will always be held to a higher standard than others. Instead we are holding him to a lower standard and he is even failing to meet that.

As you said I also hope he leaves but for the sake of the club. This is our talisman, our highest paid player, our United through and through player...who can barely run, barely press, barely beat a man, barely even affect a game. He's a sad shadow of a united player.

"Abuse"? Please provide such examples. There is no such thing in this topic other than justified criticism.

If you're referring to the vile world of social-media where millions of faceless people could say anything for a reaction, then just don't read it. Simple.

As soon as his loose touched led to a corner I called the goal.

You would think the teams “maverick” had enough sense to avoid a corner at all cost.

We already can’t rely on him for anything incisive. At least pretend to be the experienced player and play for the throw in if you can’t escape the pressure,

I hope he stat pads enough for us to sell him abroad. We maximized his potential. It’s folly expecting more at this point.

There's a level that you need to adhere to as a premier league footballer. Below average performances are okay every now and then. Antony's cameo for example was below average, but not horrendous.

Rashford's cameo was diabolical and one of about 40 that we have seen over the last year. Completely unacceptable to have one game at that level, let alone 80% of them being that dire.

So we should absolve every other player for failing to defend the corner along with every other corner Arsenal got where they consistently won every header?

Objectively, he was poor. It was an awful gift of a corner and he contributed nothing going forward. A shadow of his teenage self. The 2 goals against Everton will not mask his deficiencies for long

Is this what that post said? I didn't get that, it just seemed to imply that rashford giving away that corner was a factor in the goal. You absolutely tie yourself in knots to defend rashford, who has been awful for the last couple of seasons, while slamming Bruno at every available opportunity. It's weird.

One simple question to you. Why he is almost always the least hard working player on the pitch?

Still waiting for an apology from the poster who named and shamed us who had been on his back for a while when he showed up for a new contract. Some knew what he was looking before we got to this. Done with him.

He sulks when he is put to play on the right. He sulks when he enters the pitch as a substitute.

It's 1-0, you should be the club talisman, and you are jogging around, no urgency, no willingness to put the team back in the game? No self pride? Don't even get me started on that moronic corner.

WTF, seriously... I hope he is the first one to go this summer. I can not stand his carelessness on the pitch.

Nope. Many at fault. Still…In this instance it’s silly to ignore the person that conceded the corner when it became abundantly clear that the opposition was fired up and deadly at them.

That flick up was class though, Maradona esque... said it to myself "would be typical if they score from this corner now" and they did exactly that.

I think sometimes the complaints about his lack of effort off the ball are being a bit kind to him because it's distracting from how utterly dreadful he is on the ball.

That was almost comical how bad it was, can't retain possession of the ball to save his life. Gifting them another corner when they keep scoring from them and heading the ball back into his own box were the highlights.

Some of the things used to bash rashford is literally insane. We've heard he's on 350k a week and he's seen driving a bentley. Someone clipped him up throwing his gloves on the floor and made out he was a disgrace to the club. He conceded a corner, as if arsenal were not already winning corners. The guy didn't start the game and he's being scapegoated for the loss. Now poster above complaining he wasn't the last player to leave the pitch after the game finished is beyond petty and insane.

It gets real boring reading everywhere rashford is so terrible, even though he's our top scorer in the league and bailed us out in countless big games, had he actually started up front instead of Hojlund we would have been more likely to score but no lets focus on banal things such as he conceded a corner after we already down and didn't man mark every arsenal player in the box

Most of the criticism is over the top but I do think I'm finally to the point where I don't care if he's sold or not. He hasn't been good for 2 full years now, for as much as we're paying him we need someone we can rely on.

Let’s be honest, he will leave in the summer. We can’t carry players for the sake of it. INEOS need to be brave and even take a loss if need be considering his high salary.

He is just not a modern footballer, he belongs in 2000-2012 era. He does not close down and he does not have the technical skill to thrive at the top. Also, his personality is not fit for consistent high outputs.

He is a disgrace. Too lazy to even show appreciation for a few minutes to the most loyal travelling away fans.

Just find a swap deal and get rid of this imposter.
Do our traveling fans agree with this statement? I am just curious, not poking at you.

I don’t think he’s getting abuse, if anything he’s had it easy from United fans. In almost 10 years he’s underperformed for 50% of his United career. And still he’s here getting cheered on every week earning 200-300k a week.

If he has any footballing ambition he should be looking at MCT and seeing how well he’s doing in Italy. I reckon Rashford would be pretty good in seria a.
