Even when the majority of the team play well, he's still woeful. So poor. I cannot see him being a starter under Amorim, won't be surprised if that's the catalyst to move him on in the summer.
Yeah. We haven't helped him and different managers constantly trying to change him has harmed his development. Some coaches trying to make him a winger who holds the touch line and run at defenders, when he is just an off the ball in behind runner, basically a poacher.Yeah there's no major reason he couldn't be the experienced No.9 at the club. He has the basic tools Would save us a lot of money.
But can he get his head in the game.
I've always said distance covered in a game isn't his problem. Calling him lazy has actually become quite lazy analysis.
I think due to poor attitude he's just lost his game, become confused at to what he is. A lessening of his physical attributes has contributed to that but where has the player running in behind gone? That was his thing at one point.

This. Compare him with Casemiro; Casemiro, who won literally everything and is at the end of his career, is still playing with passion and emotions. Rashford, who is United academy player, in his prime years and won only few cups, is playing exactly like you said. "I must go to my fecking job which i even don't like".Even the rare occasions he's scored, outside of that golden period under ETH, he never looks particularly happy or pumped up.
He looks like someone doing a regular 9-5 job.
More likely to be that having the fanbase of your boyhood club and the club you play for constantly on your neck regardless, has taken it's toll... He's in shite form that is clear but Nacho made a valid point about the fans getting onto them with his non-celebration and it's not hard to see how and why it affects them all to different degrees...
Attention, both good and bad, has always been a part of professional sport. The pressure and stress and being in the spotlight is the price they pay for earning millions. If they don't like it they can go and do something else with their lives, and if they can't handle it they shouldn't be playing for Manchester United. That's just the way it isMore likely to be that having the fanbase of your boyhood club and the club you play for constantly on your neck regardless, has taken it's toll... If we're playing Amorim's 3-4-3, I don't think we even need a direct replacement. We can probably just sell and use the money to strengthen other areas.
I think Bruno, Amad, Garnacho, Mount, Eriksen, Zirkzee are plenty of options for the two spots behind the striker in that system.
I'm always getting stick mateI know you're getting some stick for saying this but it seems like a fair assesment of the situation

This is why i want him moved on. We've a new breed of players coming through now, it cannot be deemed acceptable. Imagine being the fullback behind him all gameWe really need to move him on in the summer but we have said this for years. He can only play one way, running in behind into space. With a bit of effort that could make him a decent squad player but he can't even manage that. Never sticks a foot in, always beaten to the ball.
The mental impact he must have on the other players... busting a gut and turning around to see him jogging.

No it's mostly his fault, but as a fanbase we rarely work with our players it seems we prefer to work against them... Hoijlund, Zirkzee and Ugarte are some example this seasonAlways someone elses fault, isn’t it

Why would you think I'm talking about match going fans? That's incredibly unfair on our matchgoing fans, who are probably the most patient and tolerant in the whole league when it comes to underperforming players (and managers) You really have to stink the joint out for an absurdly long time before there's even a hint of a backlash. I'm sure Brennan Johnson could tell him a few things about what it feels like when the fans at the stadium actually turn on you. Hopefully he can also learn from him the best way to shut them up, by playing better.
If he's feeling upset about what people say about him online that's a completely different issue. With an obvious and easy solution.

Can't do anything about how you interpreted it, but my posts in this thread make it clear who I'm talking about and what he should do about it...You were making it sound as though he has no agency in what’s happened. So you had to be referring to those fans. They’re the only ones he is forced to listen to.
I remember you from before but... really? Why would he affected by what a bunch of random people write online?

Regardless, it's pretty shit and the fact that him and others in the team cannot just ignore it doesn't make it right
Looking forward to the individual training compilations during the international break. "Training like an animal" etc.
Yes, but I guess it's not that simple... evidently... You're literally repeating what I've said months agoThey literally can ignore it. That’s easy. Just stop seeking out comments about yourself online. It’s not hard at all to do. Far easier than knuckling down and winning the fans over by upping their game on the pitch.

You guys get upset when I (on my lonesome) call you moany cnuts...
Nah it's more that I don't think it helps... not surprised the nuance eludes some of youI love how @afrocentricity now presents it as a fact that Rashfords form is badly affected by anything negative written about him online.
The bad form preceded the bad things being written about him, this goes back to when Jose was manager and all the press and pundits were backing Rashford.Nah it's more that I don't think it helps... not surprised the nuance eludes some of you
