I think his time at ManUtd is done. Hopefully we get a decent enough deal.

He had the power to keep him, and he said no. He didnt blow to the demands of his agent and the player. So yes he did.
Pogba wanted playing time that SAF felt he hadn't earned, he was offered a new contract and turned it down and left when his contract expired - it was that simple

Personally find it disgusting that we’re using a great win as a stick to beat him with, the volume of activity in this thread is weird and says a lot about those positing in here

Yeah let’s just enjoy it, and to Rashford’s credit, he’s posted a great celebration post on IG

Just because we won doesn't mean there's a moratorium on every other topic and thread on this website you know.

Before the match even started today it was worthy of a spike in activity as Rashford had been dropped from the squad with no injury reported.

I get what you're saying but I think fans our entitled to be happy that the manager has such high standards which we've been severely lacking for a very long time.

Standard setting. Subliminal messages in the post match presser. To be honest he deserves dropping based on Thursday anyway!

Why the feck is Micah Richard's sticking up for Rashford. ???
Neville not even having a go at him.
So weird .

He is the #1 Villain now. It is easier to find a singular target to blame for all your woes than analyze a much more complex problem.

I think it would be best if we part ways this winter or in the summer. It'd be in the best interest of both the parties. Rashford needs to go somewhere else and rediscover his love for football and we need to invest in a more consistent attacker.

Hope he and his people aren’t watching the post match coverage on Sky, because Gary Neville is going in big time on him and I can’t disagree with anything.

Damn, this is a huge indictment on Rashford, Amorim is basically saying he isn't good enough and dropped him from Matchday squad!
No I think it's more a challenge to him and Garnacho... 'play the way I want you to play at the right levels of intensity and application, or you wont be playing'

I appreciate the way he's gone about it, no spilling the t, no calling people out.... addressing it all the same but without the fanfare

Amorim is respectful and classy in his comments

But I really think Amorim sees Rashford as someone not good enough, he benched him few times, and subbed him off once at least and now totally dropped him, Rashford is supposedly a big name player and basically the club's poster boy, and when Amorim is asked why he dropped him he says standards has to be high, the only way to read this is that Rashford is not thought of to be good enough if his standards made him be excluded from Match day let alone be benched, the same goes for Garna too, but Garna still got the "young n learnin'" tag while Rashford is supposed to be in his absolute prime

I’m highlighting just how fickle some of our fans can be—always quick to criticise our players rather than celebrate their achievements. God forbid Amad has a few poor games in a United shirt.

Anyway, time to check the Garnacho thread. I wonder if he’s being labeled a “virus” as well.
This sanctimonious shite, I’ll never get it. I mean people do go overboard that’s fair but you’re admonishing anyone who posts in this thread after this city result. Why do you people get it in your head you have to ‘police’ the place? It’s a forum right? You know a place where fans say their bit and is actively moderated anyway.

Its relevant the threads bumped as this is the first time I can remember Rashford being dropped from the squad for a big game without injury. Ruben is setting proper standards, at last, and a lot of us a find that pretty satisfying after season after season of casual jogs and general dgaf attitude.

Richard's thinks this is a racist attack on Rashford. That's the only explanation of his stupid comments

"Never interrupt your enemy while he's making a mistake; it's bad manners.”

No wonder why ABUs love our Rashy. Let's see what happens when a city highest earner start jogging on the pitch for most of the time

Exactly, people need to watch Amorim's post match press conference where he explains the decisions without having a go at the players despite the press stirring. This needs to be a wake up call for the players and hopefully they respond which is better for the team. Amorim has set his standards and all players need to learn to meet those.

Finally, Neville has called him out for it. Can't disagree with anything he said. Will be interesting to see if Amorim elaborates a little more in his post match press conference.

He has seen the same as us, and he has challenged him and Garnacho - can they reach the required levels. I think its clear that he will feck them off if he believes they are not capable. This must make most happy in here. Players will be in the team on merit

Its a performance thread and Rashford didnt play today. Stop being daft!

Glad Amorin left him at home. We wouldn't have won that game if Rashford played in the 10s.

Usually when someone reputable goes in that much on him on such a platform, we get a statement of defiance either through a press release from his camp or one of his social media accounts in the next day or two.

If that does happen, then it would confirm to me that he’s not going to change. Best thing he can do is shut up and put his head down… that is if Amorim and the hierarchy haven’t already made a decision.

He doesn't need to elaborate more and tbh honest this expectation is weird... we know what time it is now and more importantly, so do Rashford and Garnacho

Pulling the race card is always a low IQ maneuver.
What are you talking about?

Where are they meant to comment about it then? You must admit it’s relevant as for better or worse he has a kind of ‘talismanic’ status and the fact Amorim is being ruthless about standards is important. Gonna shut up about it now as I’ll end up being sanctimonious about being sanctimonious.

Kudos to his PR team for signing Micah!

Micah probably sees himself reflected on Rashford, yout academy team that seems destined to be a legend of the club, starts buying on his own hype, makes mistakes and ends up having a career well below expectations.

Maybe he doesn't even realize it, but by defending Rashford, he's defending himself too, that's too enticing for anyone to avoid.

Jusy don't comment! He didn't play. Let's celebrate the win. It's not that hard. The fact that this thread has more posts (or did) than Amad following the full time whistle is mind boggling to me.

There's playing devil's advocate and there's looking like an idiot.
