This tranfer just gets more and more disappointing
What are you banging on about? What's been disappointing other than him not playing Sunday which he was never going to have much of a role?

The hype train is in overdrive FFS, Ugarte is nowhere near the world class player some of you want to believe he is. He will give us some energy/ mobility in midfield.

on the flipside, will be a good kick up the backside to the midfielders that are here that they need to buck up their ideas and put a proper performance in on sunday as there is genuine competition for their places coming.

They'll probably announce it around 6-7pm. Seems like Ugarte's our final signing so they perhaps want to make it interesting day delaying his announcement.

Was hopping he can make the bench to subs Casemiro when he is out of gas. We are pretty light in midfield this weekend with Mount out injured again and McT sold.

Neither McTominay nor Mount have featured in the pivot this season. However, Ten Hag had Eriksen and Collyer on the bench against Brighton but chose not to bring them on, despite Casemiro and Mainoo clearly showing signs of fatigue.

Seasons over, 3 games in and we couldn't register a player in time!

Don't Uruguay play right at the end of the international break, so it'll be the week after before we see him
He would get all of 1/2 training sessions by Southampton, I said a few days ago I don't expect him to feature until Palace. Maybe 10-15mins Soton if done and dusted.

@antohan would it be fair to say that Ugarte is a hard cheese style of player?

Can't remember who that was. Tardelli?

(sorry folks, draft in-joke about cutting through a midfield like a knife through butter until diarm's "hard cheese" midfielder popped up, quite apt to the state of our midfield)

Are we waiting for the stock market to open to announce this or for Napoli to announce Scott first?

International break up next. He will get some minutes with Uruguay then get some solid days of training back at Carrington then likely feature against Southampton. Sounds like a better plan than throwing in him against the scousers when he's not match ready.
Precisely, not sure why people couldn't see that.
