Are you being serious? This lad could make Martial look like Lingard..what a talent
His idol.I think so. Number 7.

If I appreciate a young player, does it mean I automatically hope he will join United next summer? I don't think so.Aren't you lot signing Griezmann to be the face of your club? Don't get this boards fascination with this kid. If he leaves it'll be for Madrid or Chelsea.
Not specifically you but different posters who'd be pointless to mention. If I appreciate a young player, does it mean I automatically hope he will join United next summer? I don't think so.
What I saw from Mbappé though is very promising and I think he has it all to be an extremely successful player, can't imagine him joining us now as handling simultaneous development of three gems (Rashford, Martial, Mbappé - all being forwards with at times overlapping toolkit) could be tricky.
If you were Kylian though and scored another 10 goals this season, would you leave Monaco this summer? If so, which team would offer him most in terms of development? Can't imagine he would break into Madrid team that easily, (very) high risk high reward move. Would you go to Arsenal or Liverpool?
You rate Bayern's chances ahead of Chelsea's? We have higher spending power, prestige, ready made starting position & a French speaking contingent (Hazard, Kante, Zouma, Musonda etc).Unfortunately I think he'll end up at Bayern or Real but if I was him I'd stay at Monaco at least another season. He's just getting settled into playing first team football regularly in a system he suits.

Spending power they have. Prestige you could argue, but I can imagine Mbappé, being Ronaldo fanboy, a young French being compared to Henry for a while now and presumably willing to play in Spain one day, could fancy Premier League better than Bundesliga.
They have a higher spending power certainly.
Prestige you could argue
He's different and more direct than Martial, like a faster, more agile Lukaku.

The green smiley is about right when it comes to comparing prestige level between the two clubs.
It's absolutely laughable to suggest you are a more prestigious club than Bayern Munich.
Not really. Mbappe is only 18 not 38. He'd have spent his entire childhood seeing Chelsea as a superpower. The green smiley is about right when it comes to comparing prestige level between the two clubs.
Only clubs bigger than Chelsea at the moment without question are United, Madrid & Barca. We're very much on the same tier as Bayern.

You can argue we don't need Bakayoko because we've already got Pogba, who's similar in the sense that they're both attack-minded LCM who are strong but often switch off defensively. Difference is Mbappe has the potential to be the best player in the world.Thought he looked good but would go for Bakayoko before him, given that you already have Martial/Rashford.
You're nowhere near Bayern by any metric except finance. I'd love to know how many Chelsea fans, let alone a broader audience, would argue otherwise.I never actually said that though. I just said we're a prestigious club & obviously we have more spending power.

That's the thing, we don't even need to talk about history: Bayern are recognised as one of The Big 3 who, up until this season's collapse from Barca, have been tearing Europe apart since our demise. They are a genuine, bona fide superpower. Chelsea's time as such, faded some time ago (not long after ours, actually).Agree. Bayern are a super club historically and currently.
I did say near, not better, and I think it's also safe to say that Chelsea are more likely to spend north of £70m on a player simply because Bayern don't have a need to do that.Bayern have 3rd or 4th highest revenue. There isn't a metric where Chelsea are better than Bayern, none.
