He seems more a wide player that drifts central to me. A bit like Mata has done for us but much more effective.

Most wide players play like this these days. Although Mou at Chelseas usually used to employ two right footed players out wide, one to cut inside like Hazard and one to stay a bit wider like Willian or Pedro. Being almost two footed Mkhitaryan seems to be fairly comfortable of doing either, going wide or cutting inside. I think he would fit fairly well into the category of player that Mou would have on his radar right now.

I hope so, for 30m it's a no brainer. Especially in a world where sterling went for 50m.

He is also twice as quick as mata and can beat a player. His shooting ability is wonderful. He is basically Kevin de bruyne.

More of a central playmaker for me. Would welcome with open arms. If he goes to Arsenal hes crap obviously.

I'd put money on him not being half as good as soon as he leaves Dortmund.

He was a major disappointment for Dortmund until last season. He looked like he was afraid to score. But this year he has been outstanding, looked unstoppable in most games. It will be interesting to see how he fares at a new club. If he continues with this form he could play for any team in the world, but if he needs a long time adjusting again he might not be that influential at first. IMO at 30m € it is difficult to get get a better player for that kind of money, especially looking at current prices.

If we sign Mkhitaryan, he would be our first properly two-footed attacking player since Nani, and his versatility would be great to have. He's also not too old at 27 to be a key part of our building plans. He also shares an agent with Zlatan, so there's reason to think they're at least familiar with each other, if Zlatan does indeed come.

He is not very quick, but definitely smart and a good finisher. He's had a really good last season, but before that he was infamous for not being able to score, last season he got 23 in 51, before that in the previous two seasons he got 17 in over 80. I don't think he is one of those classic wingers, he is converted one (just like Mata, but obviously better than him playing on the wings).

30 million Euros is definitely cheap for a player of his quality, but if we have an option for signing some one like Mahrez for 40m, I would be tempted to go for him instead.

From Mkhitaryan's perspective, he would be better of signing for United rather than Arsenal, as there would be almost no competition for his position in United's squad.
Have you actually seen him play?

It's now official: He will not sign a new contract with Dortmund

And

According to BILD - Raiola: "Micki wants to join Manchester United. He wants to play for Mourinho. That is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for Micki"

BILD says we have offered €24m for him.

Ooh nice

It took him 2 full seasons to play at a high level for a consistent period of time in his 3rd season. A cracking 3rd one, I have to acknowledge, but still only 1 great season out of 3. Other clubs should be careful because he seems prone to falling back into his old form if the surroundings aren't optimal for him.

Have you just blown Duncan Castle's thunder?

I think he's massively wasteful but it's not like we're spoilt for choice in that position so for that fee bring him in

The best part of this is that we can call him Micki, I just had to edit my spelling 3 times in the other thread

Are these quotes real?

Are these quotes real?

I'm having a look on twitter.

Lots of people tweeting them, lots saying its in tomorrows Bild. Nothing on either Bild's twitter feed or Bild_Sport and nothing on their website.

Edit: On close inspection I'm downgrading from lots to 'literally three'.
