Rather give Perreira a go than spend £25 million++ on this guy.
... But... NVM...Rather give Perreira a go than spend £25 million++ on this guy.
Why?Rather give Perreira a go than spend £25 million++ on this guy.
He's got a year left. Would you rather we went in with £30m straight off?
Because Perreira got feck all chances under LvG and i think he deserves it.

No, but then again nobody is a guaranteed success.Which translates to him definitely being a success?

With same logic: We shouldn't sign Perreira in the first place, and stick with our local British talents. I bet many British talent were turned down by United academy scout because of foreign Perreira. Yet nobody guarantee successNo, but then again nobody is a guaranteed success.

 people's obsession will youth is going beyond comprehension now.Because Perreira got feck all chances under LvG and i think he deserves it.
That would be insane on our part. I'm not sure he's worth 40m alone, let alone with a year left on his contract.Reckon Dortmund would sell if we offered £40mill or something. Not sure if that's too much for him though.

I can literally think of no reasons not to sign one of the best players in Europe, especially at a relatively cheap price, just because we have a youth player that might make it. That train of thought is ridiculous imho.
I'm judging that both off the amount of games I've watched him in, and off the fact that he's been one of the standout players in the Bundesliga (over the majority of the Bayern squad!), and for me, that does qualify him as one of the best in Europe. He gets better by the day the longer we're linked with him..
Same could be said about Firmino the season before.I'm judging that both off the amount of games I've watched him in, and off the fact that he's been one of the standout players in the Bundesliga (over the majority of the Bayern squad!), and for me, that does qualify him as one of the best in Europe.
Of course this is all purely subjective and my opinion, so feel free to disagree

I really hope he comes here just so I can watch Merson fumble and stutter as he tries to pronounce his name and all the 'lads' in the studio laugh at him.
To me when the chance comes up to sign a future 6 time Ballon d'or winner like this you can't pass it up.He gets better by the day the longer we're linked with him..
world class player = 2 good games every gameyouth player = 1 good game every 10 games.
top player = 1 good game every game.
I known which I want.
I only ever had one thing to say about youth, Freddy Adu. people's obsession will youth is going beyond comprehension now.
we aren't good enough to have world class players.world class player = 2 good games every game
I know which I want

I don't know how Mourinho plans to use a player like Mkhitaryan along with Ibra. Both primarily prefer to occupy similar areas. While one thrives in transition from defense to attack, the other likes to play as the focal point of the entire attack in a more possession based system.
We need quick players that can use Ibra as a focal point to collect the ball in dangerous areas and take people on and beat them. Players like Bale or Mane. Mkhitaryan IMO just doesn't fit the profile of the kind of player we badly need.
