Not sure who was better between him and De Ligt tonight. De Ligt had bigger moments but Maguire was involved more often (probably to be expected from a central center back). Both were brilliant, the "penalty" was a joke.

What is this amnesia in regards to Maguire like he's never been good for United? He was one of our best players in the seasons where we finished 3rd and 2nd under Ole.

He should have said more, Havertz was a disgrace in that incident. Nothing else on his mind other than to initiate any kind of contact, even though Maguire is doing his best to avoid it, and when he succeeds in doing so, he falls down like a sack of potatoes. All this while you're a man up and have just equalized.
You'll be lucky if the caf gives a fair assessment of the last 12 months let alone 5 years.

I can only applaud his professionalism. Some of the abuse he got from our fans and the worldwide football fans in general was shocking. To come back from that takes mental fortitude a lot of our players can use. Well done Maguire.

He was our best defender for the whole match and just when he run out of gass De Ligt came in with some shit from Marvel movies. Overall, just a brilliant performance. Him looking like he might deck someone after the penalty was just icing on the cake.

Amorims 3-4-3 has reignited his United career, didn't expect it at all but it's great to see. Gets the protection either side of him so he doesn't have to deal with the runners in behind or wide at all, and can just command the box which is perfect for him.

I always wrote here that I thought that we would see the resurgence of Maguire as a good player with Amorim. Glad to see him doing well. The same story arch as Sebastian Coates with Sporting. Well deserved extra year option. May he continue the good phase.

Him limping to take as long as possible as he came off was top shithousing. He should be a cult hero - pretty devastated we didn’t get to see him smash another pen in.
