Seems I missed some deadline day deals in the summer so I'll add those too.
Sheff Utd signed keeper Spike Brits for free on summer DD. Then this winter they've signed Roony Bardgjhi for 48m. Jonathan Rowe was sold for £47.5m.
Sunderland signed Tanguy Nianzou on summer DD for £55m, and also Joao Felix on DD for £38m. Nobody of note in Jan.
Derby signed Jonas Urbig, Yves Bissouma and Riqui Puig on summer DD and have loaned Maximo Perrone this winter.
Bolton signed Sambi Lokonga for £42m on summer DD and have loaned Conor Bradley from Sunderland in the Jan window.

Yep! I'll only really report on it if a team makes the quarters but I should've done a small write up for the first one. Just imagine it instead.

I can't believe it! Both teams dropped out and have formed a Man City sandwich with Bolton and Derby. Sunderland lost their last two games to Villa and Arsenal. Sheff Utd beat Brentford on the last day but their form was not good enough before that. I will update this after some finals though as some will likely still get some form of Europe.
