We’ll end up signing him and get him ready for RM in 2-3 years.De Ligt is signed for now. Yoro would be for the future, not now. Probably 2 - 3 years before he is fully ready.

Yeah two for sure. If we get Yorro I think wel give another go at Branthwaite. De Ligt will be the back up choice.I think we will buy 2 CB. One most likely is de Ligt for his experience. The other one is is a younger talent, either Yoro if he says yes or we try again for that overpriced Everton lad
I think De Ligt is certain, and we add one of the other two as talentsYeah two for sure. If we get Yorro I think wel give another go at Branthwaite. De Ligt will be the back up choice.
Hmm not anymore. Yorro looks done and I can see us not giving up on Branthwaite.I think De Ligt is certain, and we add one of the other two as talents
I think it will be the opposite, de Ligt being first choice for obvious reasons. Cheaper, ETH knows him very well, more experienced. Branthwaite does not make much sense.Yeah two for sure. If we get Yorro I think wel give another go at Branthwaite. De Ligt will be the back up choice.
Get rid of one of Lindelof and Maguire and it'll be fine I think. Martinez/Yoro/De Ligt as the main starters with Maguire/Lindelof as backup and Evans only playing when we get ravaged by injuries again.Think the plan will be to sign him still, but hoping Bayern drop the price as they continue to chase Tah. We also may be waiting to move on Lindelof or Maguire to free up the squad space for them.
If we don't get rid of anyone after bringing in Yoro it's quite a glut of players at CB
Martinez
Yoro
Maguire
Lindelof
Evans
Bringing in De Ligt would have us up to six CBs for only a two spots, so slight overkill when you consider they will all be on good wages.
I think with INEOS leading the transfer front it's going to be Branthwaite, unless he's vetoed by ten hag which we know he isn't.I think it will be the opposite, de Ligt being first choice for obvious reasons. Cheaper, ETH knows him very well, more experienced. Branthwaite does not make much sense.
Agreed, though getting a suitable bid for either of Maguire or Lindelof is the obvious next step. Bringing in De Ligt now would kill our leverage when getting rid of one or both of them. And if we can't get rid of either then I doubt we make another CB signing.Get rid of one of Lindelof and Maguire and it'll be fine I think. With Onana going Everton will ask a stupid price unfortunately which will be prohibitive. De Ligt just has a lot more going for him.I think with INEOS leading the transfer front it's going to be Branthwaite, unless he's vetoed by ten hag which we know he isn't.
Plettigol has also said Yorro has been prioritised over De Ligt. We won't pay for De Ligt if it's 50m eur so maybe it's a game of chicken with Bayern Munich. If bayern drop their price, maybe.
I guess Branthwaite is far fetched too because Evertons price is stupid. I hope we don't pay more than 60m for him.
Presuming Yoro gets done I think we'll sack this one off and go for another left footed centre half now.
Yep, the deal is screaming €45m + €10m in add-ons with half of the add-ons being somewhat easily achievable. This might mean the club wants the deal at €50m total including add-ons but Bayern want €50m and then some more, so hopefully they reach an agreement and we get him alongside Yoro
Agreed. I think the appeal to JB, other than being talented & English is also that from what i read on here is that he's equally comfortable using both feet, which means he could fill in either RCB and LCB based on injuries. Not sure if the same applies to Yoro? I think MDL is predominantly right footed. But Yoro is a kid and we aren’t going to pin all our hopes on him. It’ll 2 out of the three we’ve been linked with. Braithwait looks the most clumsy and expensive of the three which is why I don’t get quite get that link.
Wouldn't it make more sense to get a left back in, and have Shaw play LCB?
Would be a good idea to think of it this way. Lot of options across the back 4 and I even think you could play Yoro RB provided the LB pushes up into midfield.Wouldn't it make more sense to get a left back in, and have Shaw play LCB?
Do Bayern need the funds from a sale for buys? Rumours of a couple of players…. don’t know your FFP/PSR positionYep, the deal is screaming €45m + €10m in add-ons with half of the add-ons being somewhat easily achievable.
No, Bayern is rich. Debt free, 31 years in a row profitable and allegedly €250m+ in the bank account.Do Bayern need the funds from a sale for buys? Rumours of a couple of players…. don’t know your FFP/PSR position
Agree with this, Hancko would be a great alternative for de Ligt. Better than Branthwaite.I’d take even Yoro and Hancko as a net benefit given Hancko’s outstanding ball progression in defence. I think if we look at this in terms of profiles we want, we need physical duellers and ball progression.
If you can get both then you’re very happy but usually you have to compromise a bit on one for the other. Hancko and Yoro would be a good balance and adding good depth. De Ligt and Branthwaite would too.
