One of his worst performances in a United shirt today.

Obviously, playing in a midfield 2 with a semi-retired Casemiro isn't ideal for anyone, but that's no excuse for struggling to control the ball or falling over after an attempted pass.

Can’t blame Casemiro. He lost the ball countless times and just did stupid shit for 90 minutes straight.

Only player who moved the ball forward and created a couple of great chances.
I guess only Zirkzee did some of it too.

I think he's a very good player. But with his age, and the fact that his performance levels haven't been out of this world, if a 40 million pound offer came in, we may have a hard time refusing that. Being ambitious, he may also want to see out his days at the top in a more succesful situation.

I’ve seen Bruno play sloppy passes before, but this felt different tonight. Maybe I’m reading too much into what was overall a poor game of football, but for the first time, he seemed disinterested.

Have never thought that about Bruno before. Good or bad, he always gives his all, but today he just looked lost. Like his heart wasn’t in it. He wasn’t even nagging teammates like he normally does.

Yeah agree.

He started the game looking knackered.

Tbf I thought he somewhat turned it around 2nd half and did better.

He's ageing and still selleable. Is it possible we try to move him on in the summer?

I think that's basically nailed on at this point. Those who think we will magically improve afterwards are in for a rude awakening.

He had a good 10-15 mins early second half and also set up Garnacho first half.

Out attacking players just can't finish though, Bruno does still create and could really do with two strong midfielders behind.

Really wasteful but still looked like the only one who could create.

He's basically our only athlete in CM right now and also our only creative player in the middle. Was being asked to be the work horse and the creative hub, pretty unmanageable workload

He wasn't as shite as you are saying. He's had pros and cons. He made a lot of long balls to the wing backs that led to chances. There was definitely a plan there. But once everyone was tired, he completely lost it and kicked the ball straight to the opponent without any control. He's just not a DM, but was forced to play as one since 3 of 4 CMs are injured and Case is just useless and slow. He basically had to run 2x

They extended his contract (which already had several years to run) over the summer, so it's safe to say he won't be going anywhere

Usual garbage served up again today. We'll not make progress until this guy is gone.

Hope Bruno does leave and then we can see how brilliant we are without him. He deserves to finish his career with a good club. I would wish him all the best and have a smile on my face when he shows how good he is with better players around him.

Jesus Christ.

I’d take a big money offer for him (there isn’t one coming) but only because we’re going to be shit for a few years now and he should go and play for a top club.

Yeah lets get rid of not only one of our best players, but also one of the very few players that is fit virtually all the time.

He's a frustrating player, but he is one of the only players we have with genuine skill. We don't have money to replace him and have far too many other problems.

Oh feck this. He is at his best when he is closer to goal. He isn't a central midfielder. So cut him some slack for being played out of position.

He had an off day today for sure, but many times Bruno has been our most creative player and never stops battling. I can think of a few more I'd be giving marching orders to long before him.

In fairness he does have a very high work rate, and absolutely can create moments of brilliance. It just feels like there are also far too many brain farts from him in any given game. Gives the ball away cheaply far too often. It used to not matter so much when he was playing closer to goal, and was scoring for fun. But those days are long gone.

I said last summer that we should have moved him on. Bowing down to his demands in terms of a new contract was silly. I don't think he'll be going anywhere in the summer, but he really should have been moved on by now.
