Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

Its easy to judge history now but that's not the correct way to see things. You need to see things from his perspective. Tudor took a stable and respectable kingdom to the brink of civil war and invasion. Smallfolk were left dying on both sides (first Catholics, then Protestants under Mary, then Catholics again) and his dynasty ended after 1 generation. His crown ended up first to Mary, the very daughter of the woman he turned against then to Elizabeth the daughter of the woman he executed.

Regarding monasteries, I agree wholeheartedly and I assure you no one understand the injustice of a rich church in a poor country then I do. This situation survived in Malta well past medieval times, as the church and the British empire agreed not to step at each other toes. It was only after independence when Mintoff finally put the church in place and it was a fight him and his supporters (including my grandfather) had to fight for inch by inch and suffer a horde of injustices because of it. Yet, you also need to understand the times too. During the medieval times, that wealth could end up either to the church whom, with all its weaknesses, did care for the poor else it would end up in the hands of nobility who didn't share any love for the poor.

Seriously?

And then what? She certainly cannot expect more favourable terms after this public humiliation.

From the EU's perspective, only two options remain: no deal or no Brexit.
Then stall as long as she can.

She should just resign. Let Boris and his ilk sort the mess they created

Let me guess, Corbyn would go get a better deal, except actually he wouldn't get anything because the EU have no cause to have to concede anything have have made it crystal clear they won't.

So it's complete chaos and ruin or cancel the whole thing, but the country is run by morons so it'll be the chaos option.

What's going to happen if Corbyn gets in and gets no better of a deal, surely all the Tories would vote that down and we'd be right back to here.

So would a no confidence vote even succeed? I doubt it.

What a load of shite this. May, Corbyn the whole fecking lot of them.

So she delayed the vote for an extra few weeks just to try and brow beat and blackmail people into voting for her deal and ended up getting defeated by even more votes than was predicted in the first place....

What an utter waste of time at a moment where every second counts

March 29 would come and go and we'd be out with no deal whilst he was still trying to get through the switchboard.

230 against! This is the outcome of popularism based on lies. No one believes anyone and no one can propose a compromise because every option is treated as suspicion by either side. A nation hopelessly divided and nobody capable of uniting the country. Every option is now making matters worse. This is spiralling out of control and the legacy will last for decades.

Just can't see us leaving with no deal. That should be the next question in parliament as it's all that's on offer now. No deal or revoke A50

Can’t wait until this government has absolute sovereignty!

:)
Yes, the question now is Will the No Confidence motion be passed, or not? I asked yesterday and no fecker replied, is this just going to be down to the DUP, and what will the DUP do?
edit: thanks DDS, but how do you know?
