Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

The HoC is a fecking joke. It's all a big laugh to these toffs (and not just on the Tory side).

Working class people are the ones to get fcuked over while they jeer each other like children.

It would be surprising if another letter or two doesn't go in after today. How a Tory leadership campaign would affect all this is mind-boggling. I don't know if she would remain as leader, and PM, until an election were held or not. Presumably she would be powerless in any case. Anyone?
No one has put themselves forward for the job have they? She would win

It's a clear fallacy as proven by stats and highlighted in that report. "The Scots aren't racist but the English are" is a dangerous myth and one that gets fuelled by the rhetoric of the likes of the SNP when they claim that culturally Scotland is more welcoming than other parts of the UK. It's simply not true and it's also hardly progressive to tap into that sort of nationalist and divisive thinking.
Indeed, but the voting patterns of Scotland are consistently for a very long time for progressive parties. The report cited (despite the extrapolation issues of proprtion discussed in the repirt)and my experience of living in both countries, is that there are many issues in this regard both sides of the border but one is voting in one direction and the other diametrically in general.

Hear Theresa May is favourite for the United job with this level of incompetence. Only when we cant make the top 4, though.

Brexit would be like United wanting to quit the Champions League in order to play in other continental competitions with believing they will make more money.

Mayxit needs to happen ASAP or the UK will be in a recession by this time next year.

We are a proper basket case right now.

Does it even matter? If there was a recession half the country would still support May because they think Corbyn would ruin the economy. It’s past parody.

The anger that rises when someone suggests a second referendum is undemocratic

If we'd voted remain in 2016, how would you feel if there was to be another referendum now?

Not as bothered because people would probably stay remain.

Shit loads of voters that voted Brexit are regretting it now though.

In 2016 the meaning of Remain was crystal clear and remains unchanged to this day.

None of which is true about the meaning of Leave. So your rhetorical question is kind of silly.

Also ignores the fact Brexiteers were already calling for a 2nd referendum on the eve of the results (as they thought it was lost).

It’s mental. I just heard her say on the radio that the ministers that are against her deal need to put forward viable alternatives... this after two Brexit ministers resigned and she essentially went against her own cabinet ministers requests for changes to the deal structure. It’s like an episode of that comedy rick mayall starred in.

Surely businesses will now have to make final decisions as to what they're going to do.

If there's no chance of Remain or a vote on the deal anytime soon, it's going to be No Deal.

May's trying to do what she did last Xmas - agreeing to things before Xmas and then after Xmas completely denying it

Anything to survive just a little bit longer.

Happy for a second opinion?

Are you suggesting i should be pissed in that circumstance because my individual preference might no longer be the same as the majority?

Disgrace. Get her out.
Would that help the situation in any way? Surely that would just lead to further delays, political power battles, and generally the country as a whole suffering through further uncertainty.

What's the alternative? Like it or not she's in a thankless job where she's been dealt a hand where the only possible option is a loss. She's trying to sugarcoat a bitter pill.
Yes she has a hard job but her actions today indicate she has decided to play chicken with MPs, who will blink first..

This is not a political game, we are hurtling towards no deal Brexit.

Given that Farage and others literally stated that if the results were close and they lost they would immediately begin campaigning for a second referendum it seems a little disingenuous that they are now banging on about the betrayal of democracy.

I'm not sure why she's heading back to Brussels when the EU has basically said take it or head towards hard Brexit. She should have put the proposal to vote and when it inevitably loses head to the eventual outcome. That doesn't mean sending in a different negotiator would result in a different outcome.

We are agreed on that point. Years of fecking around and we still havent resolved anything. She has to go.

DUP sticking the knife in now.

Edit - dumb as bricks. Wants us to gerronwivittt and also have great trade deals. With a hard border.

We're being held hostage by an incompetent careerist.
But enough about United.
