Brexited | the worst threads live the longest

Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

Because the same issues in Scunthorpe aren’t the same as in Brescia. Farage and his mates have tainted the whole taking back control angle but the premise is very sound and simple to me. I am not an advocate of leaving the EU
I think there is a bigger difference between someone who went to a Comp in the West Midlands and someone who went to Eton than there are between me and someone who went to a state school in Italy. I know this because I work with people who went to a state school in Italy and I know people who went to a public school in the UK.

Conservative MP Rebecca Powell says she has not spoken in many of the Brexit debates, but it was now her moment as "time and time again we hear from the same people, but not often from the voices of reason".

To shouts of "the men", she says: "I am exasperated of the bickering and it cannot be beyond the men and women of this place to put the good of the nation first."

She adds that today's vote is "one small step for Parliament and one giant leap for the UK".

This woman actually used the moon landing quote in reference to today's Brexit vote.

"it's time for reason" has never been followed by the person saying a reasonable thing, it's like "I'm not a racist but", you don't know where it'll go but you know it won't be good

Is this WA as bad for the British economy as many MPs have said? Does anyone on here know the nuances of it?

I too find it strange that the general consensus is that it'll get trounced. Seems to me that it could well pass.

Corbyn wants an election because of Brexit. He can't tell us what his policy would be at that election, even vaguely like Leave or Remain, but an election will sort it. He just doesn't know how.

Can’t keep up with all these votes. That’s probably what they want tbf. For regular people to just not care so they can get away with more.

So is it seriously the case that the likelihood is that that there won't be any Brexit if the vote is against this afternoon?
Nothing else she has said for the past few months has been true, why would this?

Nobody has a clue where this is going or what happens next. This process just unfolds hour by hour and everyone just has to go along for the ride.

It should read: Jacob Rees-Mogg walks into the propeller of a Spitfire with Boris Johnson.

People already speculating a 4th vote if this doesnt work

BBC assistant political editor Norman Smith says that if Theresa May does not win today's vote, but reduces the gap down to a small margin, she may try again.

"Were she to bring the votes right down to 10, a dozen, then she is in the market to try again and maybe get it over the line," he says.

First, Parliament would try the indicative votes process again on Monday.

"They know it was a shambles and they know they’ve got to do better," he says.

Supporters of the customs union and those calling for another referendum are looking to combine their proposals, he says.

"If they do not manage to get that majority, I expect Mrs May to come back with what’s called the Withdrawal Bill. She will try to get a majority for that, and I think she will try to convert that into a meaningful vote," he says.

I get the feeling there will be a fourth vote. Can see this one not passing; but only marginally. They'll see that as another justification for a further vote.

Anyone know what the numbers are like for the pro-Brexit protest in Parliament Square?

I can understand remain voters protesting but to expect leave voters to come out and protest a vote they actually won is just beyond nonsense.
