Thought he did ok last night, which is quite the improvement for him.
I cant believe he has learned nothing being on the bench. Still no where near creative enough and still loves cutting in and shooting.Decent cameo with some nice moves to progress the ball when he came on, but still doesn't offer enough cutting edge. Disappointed it wasn't Amad coming on.n
Amad didn't come on as he offered absolutely nothing in his past few outings.Decent cameo with some nice moves to progress the ball when he came on, but still doesn't offer enough cutting edge. Disappointed it wasn't Amad coming on.n
I am by far a fan of Antony, but he was not anywhere near our biggest problem todayI thought he was absolutely awful today.
This is how I saw his contribution today.
- I don't think he made a tackle.
- One shot that the keeper held with two hands.
- Never went on the outside.
- One cross that the keeper held with two hands.
- When Martinzes was getting ready to release the ball he was walking towards our goal with his head down. No interest in the fact that the ball might come close to him and he might have something to do.
He has to be the worst footballer in the Premier League at the moment.
And our manager knew this person, had worked with him and decided to buy him. For that alone ETH should go.
I think we would be wrong to let him go in January unless we get a huge offer, I think he is good player and still has something to offer if he can get a god run in the side.

He would have to have some ability in order to gain form.Sometimes the best move is no move, see if he can gain some form with time. Terrible time to sell him.
He's better than what he has shown so far hereHe would have to have some ability in order to gain form.
He hasn't shown anything so I agree with you there. But its best for everyone if he goes and shows that somewhere else, like in Saudi. He's better than what he has shown so far here
Bordeaux perhapsSome club from the French league could take him eventually. Or he has to start learning Arabic.
If only we were allowed to ship him off to Nice…Some club from the French league could take him eventually. Or he has to start learning Arabic.
That'd be really Nice....If only we were allowed to ship him off to Nice…
Raphinha was levels above him even at Leeds, now he's one of the best in the world at his position.Ha, I read up a tweet about an hour ago from United fan that hopes that Antony can do a Raphinha, who was hated by a lot of Barcelona fans when he first signed from Leeds, playing the first year in a bad form, but just had the night of his life for Barca, and scored a hat trick v Bayern in the Champion League, and received standing ovations. The turnaround in form has been tremendous, and he even got to be Barca captain.
Normally, I'm quite an optimistic person in life, and always try to find something positive in every negative situation. However, as much as I'd like to see Antony turn it around, I just don't see it in him. Even in the Ajax youtube compilations prior to him signing for United, he was a lot of flair, but no end product. 2 years after, nothing has changed.
He seems like a decent person, who has gotten the chance to be at a top 3 club in the world by popularity, and normally, he would not like to leave. However, the level required for him to play in the PL seems too high. And even on good form, I doubt it will be enough for where we want to go.
We're getting nowhere near £40 million for him! Other teams know we're desperate to sell him, they can smell it off us.
