"Amad gets a fat contract"
He's on like 120k a week
Is that what you took away from my light-hearted banter?
And yes 125k a week is one hell of a FAT payslip to most footballers in the premier league...unless it's small change to you Mr.Moneybags

For a big club, 125k as a regular starter is pretty standard stuff. Is that what you took away from my light-hearted banter?

It's more about confidence than quality; his last goal, on the volley, was all about that. I would back Antony to look good playing at other teams in the PL.I recall Antony started his United career well too, wasn't there a couple of early goals and assists? I think teams in Spain will figure him out though, that's the problem he had over here. Any half decent left back knew just don't let him inside onto his left, 99% of the time he's not going to take you on on the outside so he became a check back and pass it back merchant.

United is a byword for negativity right now and everyone in our current squad is playing and looking like crap because that's what playing for United feels like.
It's no coincidence that everyone who is leaving the club for pastures new suddenly looks rejuvenated because they're playing at a club with a better structure and more player-friendly environment. United is the problem and we are sucking the talent out of good players because we are an utter shambles from top to bottom.
Could not be more spot on with this. Nobody ever seems to ask questions about the environment these players are coming into even though it ends up the same way almost every single time. It's more about confidence than quality; his last goal, on the volley, was all about that. A big reason why I don’t blame Amorim for resisting throwing youth players into the cauldron. We’re horrendous as fans too, there’s already an incredible pressure that comes with playing for United but we absolutely shit on our players and playing for this club must be fecking awful.
Started with Fellaini, then again with Pogba and Lukaku, recently Maguire, Rashford, Antony.
We’re more interested in turning our players into memes than supporting them.
Really? How’s it working out for Sancho? Is Van de Beek tearing things up? I think the main problem is bad recruitmentIt's more about confidence than quality; his last goal, on the volley, was all about that. I would back Antony to look good playing at other teams in the PL.

Sancho is Sancho. There is something just not right there mentally. He has bags of talent but he is not a team player.Really? How’s it working out for Sancho? Is Van de Beek tearing things up? I think the main problem is bad recruitment
Do his performances make you wish we'd kept him?Sancho is Sancho. There is something just not right there mentally. He has bags of talent but he is not a team player.
DVDB is a strange one to make a point with because he has done better at Girona. To start with, he was never a player who really suited our needs and he looked decent until he suffered an horrific injury against Bournemouth. He has made more starts for them than he did in three seasons with us.
Yeah because that's likely more his level. It's not like he's really shown us what we've been missing (I can't claim to be too avid a follower of Spanish football, so feel free to set me straight if Donny is lighting up La Liga.)Sancho is Sancho. There is something just not right there mentally. He has bags of talent but he is not a team player.

Not really saying much - like saying ETH has a better hairline than Slot.Sancho is Sancho. There is something just not right there mentally. He has bags of talent but he is not a team player.

Imagine it'd be a pretty depressing list, including the likes of Bailly, Rojo. Schneiderlin, Lingard...Yup. The list of players we could come up with who've left and done nothing or remained the same. Same goes for ex managers.
Said this a few months ago, but it's quicker to actually make a list of the ones that went somewhere and did really well (most of them going to Italy- Darmian, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku, Young...all did some good stuff).Imagine it'd be a pretty depressing list, including the likes of Bailly, Rojo. Schneiderlin, Lingard...
My point was that he has done better since he left, like basically everyone else.Do his performances make you wish we'd kept him?
He has a point. Seville shits on Manchester in fairness.

We should be passed the point now of heaping blame on individual players.
It’s ridiculous - I’d love this poster to provide a list of who basically everyone else’ includesIt's just not true.
I started amusing myself by imagining writing posts using that poster’s template. For example: Antony scored at the weekend, like basically every time he turned out for United; Bruno put in a calm, controlled display, like basically every time he plays in the midfield for us, etc. It's just not true.
