For the first goal he totally misread the situation. The pass was never on from where he was wanting to receive it. Even if Dorgu hadn't knocked it round him, he could only have booted it into the stands, which Dorgu could have done anyway.
Second goal was not his fault, very tough to react after Delap's run across the area created difficulty with the cross.
But I just don't think he's at the races right now. There's something gone mentally.
I defended him last year a lot. Simply because my closest friend is a true Inter fan, and I trust his footballing knowledge. My only game that I watched of him was the Champions League final, and his ball playing was phenomenal.
Onana never had these mistakes in him at Inter. The only thing that was somewhat of an issue with him at Inter was that he sometimes was getting the rebounds from shots back in dangerous areas. Even in more detailed highlights, you can see that. A problem that still persist with him. Inter was solid defensively, and they are not getting as many shots on goal as we are, so this may have masked some of the issues.
However, now, whether it's because he has made howlers often, we now look at every goal conceded under the "could he have done better" microscope. Second goal, you should never lose the flight of the ball. If you look closely, he dives very close to where his feet are, not covering the goal. And it's not just today.
He might get next season, Simply because we won't have the budget to replace him. But a competition is needed.
