Last season the 18th place team finished with 26 points. This season's promoted clubs are just as hopeless as last season's so I don't think the bar will be any higher.

We have 29 points, so realistically we could probably lose every single remaining game and still be safe.

Genuine question, is there something wrong with the playing surface at carringhton? It is not fit for purpose. It’s literally unbelievable how many injuries we have suffered over the past couple of years, it cannot be just coincidence.

I was asking that on the matchday thread when news broke of the first three training injuries. Now there's an even more serious sounding 4th one.

It's getting ridiculous. Last year I dreaded press conferences before games as you were just waiting to see who'd got injured this time. This has managed to eclipse all of those - four of them this time! WTF is going on!?

We almost certainly weren't winning anything anyway. A least he has plenty of time now to be fit and raring to go for pre-season.

Somehow Bruno will magic up a few goals against the run of play and we'll nick a few draws and a win or two. Relegation is not going to happen.

And maybe it's a chance for some youth players to step up. It's all well and good to say they 'aren't ready' but sometimes they get ready real quick, ala Rashy.

Guessing that relegation talk will be back on, because let's face it, without Diallo, we are a nothing team.

That guy has saved us so much this season that Bruno will be our only vocal point and a Zirkzee coming on against tired legs opening the game a little. But we always concede first which is the dangerous part.

I don't know much about the youth, you would think we would have somebody good enough to come in? It wasn't long ago we unearthed Rashford who scored in the Europa league on his debut and City a few days after.
