Zlatan had two training sessions with this team and scored after 3,5 minutes in his debut. Can't be any better from a world class striker. One of the best players in the world.

Ibra will suit us more in 80% of our games, where we need someone to hold up the ball and help penetrate stubborn defences.
This game is quite open which suits fast players. This isn't the style of the PL, especially not our games

His pace and trickery are a threat. In the first half we were penned in. On comes Rashf19d and bam. Three goals.

I was worried how he and Rooney can play together before we signed him. Still worried. He needs runners behind him cause he likes to drop deep. Rooney doesn't run. The middle of the attack is very static and could be easy to defend against.
Must be nice for Darmian to have someone to talk a Italian with.

Anyone else notice Herrera saying something to him after Rashford won the penalty with that run? Looked like he was winding him up saying something like 'that's your competition'.
Average game on whole. Scored a goal but then cost us a free kick, which led to a goal that was a result of his poor marking. Its all good though, the likelyhood of that situation repeating itself is rather slim.
He's in this team to score goals and thats exactly what he did. Pretty decent game for his first for us. Goals will most certainly not be a problem for us this season.

With Ibrahimovic and Pogba in the same team we should see some spectacular goals this season.
Imagine how the fans we have now who can't seem to accept both Zlatan and Rashford being in the same squad were in '99. The chaos in this forum of having Cole, Yorke, OGS and Sheringham would have been fun.
Like that he's working hard for that money in a dual player/pr chief role.
Just in case some people think I'm having a go at Zlatan here, I'm not. I'm just trying to see things as they are. The way I see it Zlatan will thrive once the team starts playing well and providing good service to him. I can see him getting some vital goals in OT when we're struggling to score. A bit like RVP did.

completely 2 different options and exactly what we need now. We always have a reason to complain , isn't it ?

That's true. In games against teams that are deep, where we'll need hold up play and a presence in the box, then Ibra's our man. If we are looking to counter, then Rashford. We have a good mix, as you said.

.Never been a fan of this guy. I expect him to throw a tantrum when something doesn't please his ego. He's a nice guy to have as long as things are rosy. But down the line he is bound to have his usual mood swings.
