We have spend hundreds of millions on players in recent years and the best of the lot is the bloke who cost us nothing.

Love this bloke.

great great player, nice to see him looking happy and enjoying it here, hard to believe he's 35, hope he stays fit and he tears it apart in the champions league too:-)

I just realized he's not even rated top 10 of the players in our club by the caf. I suspect we have a lot of opposition fans here voting him down. Says a lot about how great he's been this season.

The man oozes class, and is the dictionary definition of a player that makes a difference. Please god let's nail down a CL spot so that we can keep him around for another year.

Had there ever been a 100% MotM vote on caf before? He is the fecking God of Manchester

I wonder too...

Brilliant interviews! He's such a great man, the Swede! He's on 26 goals this season if I'm not mistaken, and still plenty of games to play. Incredible

I remember at the start of the season some guy said that Zlatan wouldn't be able to score more than 5 goals this season . He even made a bet on it, but I can't remember who it was.

In July my Liverpool supporting colleague stated "Zlatan will be an unmitigating disaster".

I don't normally rub people's noses in it but I'm close.

He has the same wonderful egotistical confidence that Cantona had.......perfect for this club. The same arrogance Fergie had, Keane had and many others. You need that arrogance in a team. Brilliant bloody signing.

It was a disgraceful performance apart from the brilliant free kick, the winning goal out of nothing, the MOTM award and the unmatched work rate he showed. Should be dropped for a few games.

If only we signed him all these years ago...

22 year old Swedish Ajax forward. Looks to be an amazing talent from what I've seen. Great speed and amazing skills. He's tall and pretty lanky ( almost like Crouch :nervous: ), but plays nothing like it. CLICK HERE to see some of his moves.

I haven't seen too much of him, but I'd say he could be exactly what we need. He definately looks like more of a support striker than an out-and-out striker.

Can anyone who follows Dutch football confirm this for me? What's his goal scoring record like?

The down side is that he said he wants to play for Roma ...

(in reality he'd have left to Italy/Spain after a few years)

what a performance by him. i hope he gets a break now and maybe even a few days of vacation because he looked completely fecked at the end

The sheer arrogance of his, unbelievable, he's a massive, massive player and a great winner. He's been immense for us. Should be shown as a role model to the youth surely.
