As far as free transfers go, I'm struggling to think of a better one. He's going to break 30 goals in England, in his first season, at the age of 35. 
No question he will be. He'll be expecting to win the league with us next ear.
I can think of only 3 players who have had such a status within the team that I can remember, that people just look at in the team and they know. Cantona, Ronaldo and Ibra

Yep should definitely be up there. Contributions for us this season have been massive. Not sure any of the other teams up near the top have been as dependent on one figure for goals as we've been with Zlatan.

Was so obvious to anyone who had watched Zlatan at all throughout his career that he would be smashing the goals in, in England. I never had any doubts and I was one of those who was desperate for him to sign when we were linked to him in the summer. Zlatan has NEVER relied on pace to be a top scorer and he still has all the attributes that have made him a top striker, touch, movement, strength, skill, vision.. he can go on for a few seasons yet I think.

superb....bloody brilliant signing, even though many had doubts.....we got one good season out of Van Persie....I reckon we could get two or three out of Zlatan at this late stage....it's not just his goals...it's his hold up play which is bloody brilliant....he's a beast.
If only he was 2-3 years younger. His partnership with Pogba would have been on another level for the coming years. Just surround them with some quality players and we could win the league.

You could also add some leadership skills into that. I think he's taken the final step into becoming one of the strongest leaders in football. Even better than Roy Keane. That group hug after his goal was phenomenal. The other guys are like small boys around him.

How many goals did RVP have in all comps at this stage in 12/13? I have no idea of the numbers, but it feels like Zlatan has more.
Think I saw that only Rooney and Ronaldo had scored more at this stage of the season in the last decade.
