So It's like our links with Bayern players he coached. Even if he does have a good world cup he won't be much of an improvement on our current options. we need quality.

I most certainly am not. We dont even need a purely creative midfielder which Fabregas is. Play Mata as the No 10 and 2 well rounded midfielders behind him is how I want us to go forward. And Schweinsteiger isnt injury prone, yes, he had his injuries this season but to say he's injury prone is wrong.

There isn't many. Midfielders like Schweinsteiger who are capable of everything are a dime a dozen these days other than Toure, Vidal and Matuidi, Modric I can't think of many current or future box to box midfielders capable of reaching the level of Schweinsteiger.
He's better than everyone bar Vidal in that list.
As I said, its all about how fit he can be in the future. If he's capable of playing regularly, 30 is no age to be worried about considering a) The quality of the player in question. b)the quality of the players we have in the position. c) The availability of players of his quality in the market. d) How perfectly rounded CM he is.

For one, Classie is a player that we should definitely be in for. Maybe I am straying a bit ahead of myself with that but, since his name started being mentioned and, we've been linked with him - I've researched him some bit. He looks a serious Dutch talent going forward and LVG thinks seriously high of him. I can't wait to see him in Brazil!

You ask about Vidal. For one, why would he want to leave Juventus? He is winning trophies every year and is a hero with one of the biggest clubs in world football. Maybe he is genuinely happy there? If he was available, I maintain that we would most definitely lash 40/50M on him yes.

A good shout, i would not be against this transfer, but we still would need someone with more attacking swagger as well. He could be a sort of Carrick replacement, like a Evra/Shaw situation. But we also need a proper partner dor Michael in the CM area.
Well, the guy is not playing in the dutch team, while the likes of Fer and De Guzman, an slightly above average players at best, do. Why is that? It's not like LVG really trust the guy. With Strootman's injury one could have felt he has a chance to start, but no, LVG changed formation and went with a proven but average player instead.

Ye definitely. That's where I'm hoping Vidal or Strootman comes into play. One major thing we lack in our midfield is energy. A midfield of Schneiderlin and Strootman/Vidal would give us bags of energy.
Strootman would not come here until January. Vidal is a good option, but the guy is coveted by Real as well, i don't think Pogba and Vidal are realistic targets.

He is young, but he's very talented and plays with so much confidence. As a CM, he will be better then Kovacic, no doubt in my mind. He could be great from the bench for a season and by the end of it you'll know if he should go on loan for a season or stay and play..
