Well it's mainly because most of his playing is utterly effortless. He's naturally gifted because he made a maximum in 5:20. Have you seen it? If not, watch it. He barely needs to even think about his shots, he just does them. He's naturally talented because he's not played for a year, and barring an act of God, he'll defend his title and become the oldest world champion at the crucible.
Sure Hendry's naturally talented, but I believe he manufactured his talent in a shorter spell than Ronnie, which is why he turned pro five years after picking a cue up.
It's not the speed of a break but the difficulty that is most impressive. Being quicker doesn't mean more talented. How can anyone judge how being able to play at such a speed isn't down to practise as much as talent. I think speed of play isn't a really a fair indicator.
