WC Snooker 2013

Surely that's Ronnie's 5th World Championship in the bag. He can perform poorly in the final and still win comfortably. Unless he has a total shocker it's job done.
 
Reckon the Rocket can clinch this early in the 3rd session. I predict 18-6 or something like that.

I think because the likes of Selby, Robertson and Higgins thought all they had to do was turn up to win through to the QF's and SF's.

I thought Dott and Murphy were looking good and would go far, but they drew each other and then Murphy lost a final frame decider to Trump.

The lack of consistency in snooker is shocking, when Ronnie can miss a whole year and come back and piss the title in 2nd gear you know this year has been a bad one.
 
It looks like Hawkins is doing alright at the moment but Walden is allowing him at least one mistake per frame. He's made four in this one alone - including three fouls - and is still only five points behind.

I am not so sure that's the reason, don't think generally snooker players are lethargic. O'Sullivan is just the best player ever and over long format extremely difficult to beat, the guy is a snooker genius.

Selby just looked drained, been travelling all over the world playing tournaments. Mark Allen has been playing brilliant but the schedule has taken it's toll.
 
Snooker final on. Bank holiday tomorrow. Gentle breeze through the window on a beautiful evening with the birds singing. Cold beer in hand. Life is good.
 
Hawkins getting back to the form of earlier rounds. Already got more frames than many were expecting and could take the lead after this one.

Time to start checking the odds for O'Sullivan!
 
Ronnie duly obliges with a century. Odds back to normal now.
 
Brilliant from Ronnie. Looked like he was losing his way so casually knocks in two straight centuries and keeps his cool on that long black at the end. Well done Hawkins for putting up a great fight thus far too.
 
Didn't see much of it yesterday but glad Hawkins is making a good game of it.

It was John Major and Art Garfunkle's love child. He was blessed with Garfunkle's looks and Major's sense of humour.
 
Is that Serge from Kasabian or Noel Fielding they keep showing in the crowd? I keep only catching a glimpse of him.
 
Not watching it now but is that fat asshole with the city shirt still there? He's been there a few days, and looks a disgrace. Who goes to the World final wearing a football shirt??

I saw one once and was convinced it was Serge then briefly saw Fielding next and assumed I got it wrong the first time...
 
O'Sullivan playing some of his best stuff that session. Brilliant.
