UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 fixtures (18th - 19th Sep 2018) | Kick off @ 17:55 and 20:00 BST

PSG must surely lack match intensity by dicking that absolute joke of a league every week? I can’t see them ever winning the Champions League. They’ve been rubbish in every big CL game I can remember them in.

During the celebration for Firminho's goal to boot? Very strange. Obviously frustrated but that was an unusual reaction to your team winning in the last minutes against a big team in Europe.

Yeah I noticed that - weird. Maybe just an angry celebration out of frustration or something.

Yes. He’s been pretty atrocious this season, especially his passing and decision making, which led to the equalizer today. Just bench him Saturday as a wake-up call, and hopefully that’ll do.
Tbf that was maybe his way of celebrating.

I'm surprised it's even topic, it's clearly exactly that. Like, 'what took so long', they dominated this game and it took until the last few minutes to get the 3 points.

PSG were trash. That German manager is overhyped, he's got PSG playing meh football.

You guys want to bench your best player? What on earth even makes you believe Klopp would make such a foolish decision?

To the guy (Andy something) that predicted 2-0 at HT and 3-2 FT.

Can you pick my lottery numbers this week? Fair play lad.

He didn't even fecking look bothered when they put it away. Needs to sharpen up asap.

Remember that Sevilla game?

I do. Vividly. That was an issue with tactics in both the away fixture and home. This tonight was something different entirely. The mercenaries PSG had playing for them tonight didn't want to know; they didn't give a feck. It was almost a dereliction of duty

PSG's front 3 have magic, but the rest of the team leaves a lot to be desired. They miss having Veratti in there, and a player like Juan Bernat is the level of Everton, not a CL contender.

That said though Liverpool look very, very strong this year. Not a weakness in the whole team and a lot of squad depth. If they don't win anything this year they've severely underperformed imo given the players that they have at their disposal.

It's a bit of a weird feeling, ever since I've supported United Liverpool have been a bit wank. And now we're wankish and Liverpool are good. Hopefully we can get the right players in and kick on because I really don't want to be spending the next 10 years pining about the old days like these lot have.

People complain about how we defend leads but Im guessing Liverpool fans are sick of letting the opposition back into it as well

He's currently not our best player and it's been painfully obvious the last few games, so that doesn't matter much to me. We'd play equally well if we start with Mane, Sturridge and Shaqiri against Soton for all I care, and should still win at home.

That’s what I thought. He looked pissed off.

Everyone’s lovable little Egyptian? Surely not.

Footballers are so egotistical it’s mental. How can that be your reaction to a teammate scoring a last minute winner?
A team mate that facilitates your game too. Unreal.

Did Salah just throw his water bottle on the floor when Firmino scored? Could be wrong but he didnt look happy.

He put his hand up, celebrating, then drank water, then slammed the bottle down, happy for Firmino.

Remember that Sevilla game?

"Wow, can't believe that Barcelona lost 8-0 to Sandefjord in their first match of the group stage. They were absolutely demolished and offered up no resilience at all. They should not be losing these types of games, not in 2035. Having signed Gunnarsson, Ramzinho and AutoXH-207, they really should be winning these types of games."

"Yeah it was bad, but we can't really talk either can we? Yeah we won the septuple last year including the recent Inter-Galactic Supreme Challenge Cup but we were extremely lucky to score in the last nano-second of play. As for the league, winning in the last minute with a deflected own goal is not a good way to win. And remember Sevilla back in 2018? That was worse."

Absolutely obsessed.

All that reputation he got as a nice guy and it turns out he is as petulant and selfish as Neymar. Shows that people see your true face when you are at your lowest.
It's funny how we all read a situation differently. I took it as a frustrated celebration, not petulance.
My first post on here btw. Hi all. You can learn a lot from the fans of other successfull clubs, even your rivals :)

Firmino isn't even a Klopp signing, he's a Rodgers signing.
Jaysus you're right. I didn't realize how long he's been there. Either way they have massively improved their recruitment policy since their disasters under Dalglish.

Man, Wijnaldum is putting in some serious performances this season for Liverpool.

Their midfield is a bit pedestrian.

Tagline checks out. They have yet to play anyone of merit.

The team Napoli played that nobody ever heard of will give them a better game than PSG did tonight.

Edit. Honestly thought they had some random Russian team in their group. That might of been last year.

He was the main reason behind your good run last year and if you are going to have another good run this year then he will most likely still be the key even though he's not been that great so far. Let's say for some bizarre reason Klopp decides to bench him, do you really think that would sit well with Salah? I agree so far he's not been extraordinary like last year but I find it very odd you wan't him benched it would be a terrible decision and it would probably piss him off and the last thing you wan't to do is making your main man upset.

Tuchel is a poor coach.

Is it his fault Neymar and Mbappe did zilch to contain, press or move? Is it his fault Buffon and Veratti are out? The entire game, Liverpool kept spreading the ball wide to their full backs, and the PSG wingers did nothing to help out their defence. I think the players have a shit attitude, and aren't implementing the manager's instructions.

I don't think we can judge Tuchel by his work at PSG. He's been doomed to fail the moment he took the job at a club where a player like Neymar holds the cards and calls the shots.

Maybe you should start a thread on Salah’s reaction.
Or start a thread on how you can read minds.
Get a life

He does not win titles blah blah blah and we have a proved title winner blah blah blah, this Looserpool team is advancing step by step towards the big titles with a team cost half what our team cost.

Hmm yeah. It is the same every game since last season.
The least one can expect is some serious change when it comes to that. Now, it is same old, same old.
