UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 fixtures (18th - 19th Sep 2018) | Kick off @ 17:55 and 20:00 BST

These opening fixtures have been excellent today. Needs more Aberdeen and Celtic according to some though

This is why Klopp's teams always fail to deliver. They should be winning this easily based on the performance, and they conceede a goal out of nowhere because they are playing like it's 5-0 at home vs Wigan. You should be closing this game long time ago.

They can still win this though, but I think they are still very naive team, pretty much like every Klopp's team.

A manager who has a track record of winning silverware will have instructed the team to close up shop when they keep missing those chances. At some point in that second half, the manager has to make the decision to protect the lead and see out the remaining minutes.

Wow, that piece of "defending" by Bernat, embarassing stuff. Deserves to be booted just for this goal.

Horrible from Mbappe. Dribbling nearly to your penalty box..

I knew they would score. They just never stop attacking! Mane has been incredible!

Did Salah just throw his water bottle on the floor when Firmino scored? Could be wrong but he didnt look happy.

If Ancelotti still has his magic intact, PSG in the Europa League will be hilarious. Might actually win a European trophy though.

Still think PSG will go through in all seriousness, but not too deep into the CL on this evidence.

Firmino isn't even a Klopp signing, he's a Rodgers signing.

Rodgers hated him and played him at LB to spite him. Firmino was a board signing and they were preparing for Klopp when they signed him. Klopp apparently rated Firmino highly having watched him play in the Bundesliga.

Firmino is some player. Liverpool's signings have been annoyingly good under Klopp.

I think Klopp has also managed to get 110% out of each and every one of them. In terms of quality, I think they are all about the same as us. But Klopp has done a "Fergie" and even managed to make Milner look like a world beater.

If Neymar had controlled that ball or actually bothered to track back when he lost it, Pool wouldn't have scored.

Such a spoiled brat, I hope we stay away from players like that.

So, when do we officially be concerned that Liverpool might actually win something big this season?
