UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 fixtures (18th - 19th Sep 2018) | Kick off @ 17:55 and 20:00 BST

"The Champions League is that cup were 31 teams compete for the right to lose to Real Madrid in the final"
what team do you want in the final? I think it´s time to beat a german/french team.

Alltime youngest CL coaches

Nagelsmann (Hoffenheim) younger than Goncharenko and Domenico Tedesco (Schalke) new in top 5, too.

I'm agreeing with you mate. Lots of people try to pick out the next big thing of managers yet they are at that point because that's their level. Good managers show their quality almost straight away and win at the most high pressure moments.

There are so many managers that look amazing when everythings going well but can't handle key moments.

Oh, I apologise for misunderstanding then. Good points.

De Ligt injured.
De Jong will be play RCD.
Eiting replaces De Jong in midfield.
Dolberg in the squad for the first time in ages.

Anyone in Ireland know If they are showing the United game on TV tonight? Can't be bothered heading the pub after work and I know TV3 and RTE have the rights to the Tuesday games but not sure of Wednesday

Final is at the metropolitano. I want them :drool::drool:

And barcelona and juventus on our way to the final. One of liverpool or city as well if possible

Hard to imagine Ajax - Aek is in the same tournament as Pool - Psg

The dufference in level is silly.

The Shaktar/Hoffenheim game is really good to watch.

What are the other non-United fans watching at 8? Torn between the Juve & City games.

VD Beek isn't a 6. But i think he will get some time tonight.

Ajax better. The Greeks parked the bus. But they are dangerous in the counter attack.
Ajax had all the possession but did nothing, all the chances were for Aek tbh.

Would have taken an early United kick off as well, some rather intriguing fixtures elsewhere I wouldn't mind seeing.

Aye there's plenty of good games at 20:00. Shame. I would've enjoyed watching City & Juve both... Hell, might just double-screen it.

Blind's a shite defender, but his long passes are fantastic. If only he were a good defender, he'd be like Beckenbauer.

don't you just love it when you have Ajax to score in first half and they don't do it so they kill your acca, but then score right away in second half when it doesn't matter anymore? feck off

Ajax have so much creativity. Hell even their backline with Frenkie de Jong and Blind are great on the ball.

Hoffenheim would be unlucky to not get 3 points from this, but that's a great shot.
