Did the one thing Casemiro and Eriksen cannot, non-stop movement, ran his socks off and made sure nothing was easy for the Arsenal players.

Didnt think he played too well, but didnt make a mistake that cost us anything. Needs to improve on 57.1% pass accuracy from his 7 passes next time
In his defence, finding passes when you’re a man down in a game like that is a little more challenging.

Yes, was impressed with his stamina. Didn’t even appear to be breathing hard after the long run into the box when Amad missed him with the pass.

Of course. And it was still more than Zirkzee on his shame day, but it was obviously something that would have helped take the pressure off the defence. So I didnt see anything particularly impressive in this cameo as he wasnt really winning the ball like he did in preseason either. But neither was he making mistakes that cost us which is what you would sometimes get with a young player with as little experience as him playing a team like Arsenal

If we weren’t so shockingly lacking depth in midfield, he could have really benefited from a championship loan for a year. Getting thrown into this team every now and again prob not as good for his development as it would be playing week in and week out in the championship. But with Erikson and Casemiro being as useful as pedals on a wheelchair, he has to stay in the squad.

Impressive performance. Ugarte off and he was left as main defensive midfielder. Never looked out of place and looks to have great potential to fill casamiros boots.

Too much time passed since Carrick retired, could be a proper time to restore some balance of English players actually making it in MUFC.

Good on lad, hopefully more to follow from him & Kobbie.

Kind of interesting to see he gets on over Casemiro today. Has he surpassed him in the pecking order or is there some small knock for Casemiro?

Can we play him every week? Can we play him, can we play him, can we play him every week?

Very impressed with what we saw from him today. Would like to see his minutes start to increase as he looks like a good cover option for Ugarte.

He runs and runs - which is great. Lovely cameo - and again thrown in the deep end in a difficult game.

Loved his runs in counter attacks - even if he didn’t get the ball, he will create openings for others

Having another midfielder with just decent ballplaying ability that can move around would be big. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

He must have felt that after so long without a game. So great effort from him. Let's keep giving him cameos where we can.

He was really good. Talking about his passing percentage is completely failing to understand the game he came into and what he was asked to do.

And I'd argue you need to improve your understanding of a game of football before posting again

If Casemiro or Eriksen had come on instead of him we would have lost that game, Collyer did very well in difficult circumstances and as pretty much all our team his passing stats were loer than they normally would be

That mobility is going to make a career for him. Very few midfielders cover ground in that manner, with the pace and agility he has.

Toby impressed today. To make such a cameo in this game - when we are a man down against Arsenal away - excellent. Took his chance with both hands, I think Amorim will now start giving him minutes on a regular basis

Good cameo and I imagine we will see more of him now. Even if he isn’t good enough longer term, in the short term a midfielder with his mobility will be useful in plenty of games.

Really odd comment, nothing to say Eriksen or Casemiro would be worse or better to be fair, I think he done a job and had plenty of energy but the poster above made a goos point about his passing, unless youre happy with that?
