actually from what i've seen Richardson is more like Lee Sharpe..
he was awesome even as a fledgling... shame the wanker threw it all away

Agreed, but I don't think that Richardson is as good as Sharpe, but that's not an easy thing to be.
And no Neil, I'm not providing an analysis.

How about it Neil, it would make interesting reading.
Come on Neil, Analyse.

I compared Chadwick to Gillespie.
Richardson has made his Champions League debut and Premiership debut at the age of 17 like Ryan Giggs. He can play central midfield and both wings, though preferring the left - Giggs plays both wings and striker. Richardson has excellent passing, particularly long, is creative, fast, terrific shot, takes free kicks and corners. Plenty of similarities. He's 17 and you've already dismissed him.

Some were, some weren't. One man who phoned up in an extremely emotional state following the City game was a Manchester man who I guess would have been in his 60s or older.
But if you're saying that makes a difference, then start yet another new thread about outside support.
I've got family who followed United right thru the second division - they had to get up at 4am some mornings to go to places like Carlisle, and they would get home at gone midnight. They went every week, home and away, and it was time consuming, and it was expensive.
Does that make them less dedicated than a local who can have a lie in, have little travelling expenses, and be home in time to have something to eat and then go out for a pint.
Arrogant tosser.

Giggs bulked up and he didn't, its only the hamstring troubles he's had thats catching up with him.

why the feck am i a tosser just because i say pearson doesnt have his own mind
i dont really give a shit where people come from as long as they go to most games not just arse, pool and big CL games stopping real reds getting tickets
the manchester comment was because i hadnt seen the show you were talking about and no real red who has seen where fergie has taken us would say such bullshit

he naturally bulked up..with age (not the same thing) i bet he's still only around 10 stone tho'
how can you compare a skinny 17 year old to chadwick who's 22ish?

Players have different rates of development, and require first team games to improve, but they've both been brilliant in the reserves. Can't believe you've written him off already on the basis of his few initial matches this season. He's not even grown-up yet!

Well that's just the point. Real reds don't have to come to Manchester. But older people - from Manchester - have been phoning in agreeing with Stuart. More supporting him than not.
And the tosser comment was because I resent this constant implication that if you don't come from Manchester you aren't a red.
Tell you what - if only people from Manchester supported United, we'd never have been able to afford Veron in the first place.

Are you saying you're Redder than MUTV presenter and FA Cup goal scorer Stuart Pearson as well?

read the post mate
ive never written him off
he looks a good player but nothing on giggs at the same age
so your basing this on the stiffs games on MUTV
as for making his debut at a young age can you remember davies who played against gothenberg with becks and scored?
it means nothing

Not explaining myself. Just fed up with being made to feel like a second=rate supporter because I don't come from Manchester.
And finances being what they are, I can't afford to go to games - but if I had the choice of one game to go to at OT, I'd feckin' well choose Liverpool or Arsenal. And if I lived in Manchester I'd make sure I had a ticket for every game as soon as they were on sale, so there's no reason that regulars can't get tickets imo.

How many players do make their debuts at 17 and make a sensation? Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, and not many others. O'Shea I hope we all agree is a great talent. He came in much later than 17.

That woeful channel shows every single United game, including all the first team, reserves and highlights of the Academy sides. You can't watch more United games in any other way.

Strange comment that, because you seem to think that yourself and Pearson are both redder than the 7 times league title winner, ECWC winner, EC winner, 4 times FA Cup winner, ESC winner, ICC winner, etc.
Wierd!

Also:
Silvestre: "He wasn't fazed about it at all.
"He was in good condition. He was really prepared in his mind and was ready for that game. He showed no fear.
"He has been training with the first team for a couple of weeks and I think he has handled that really well."
"It was good to see them being involved in training and afterwards we saw in the game in Cyprus that they are good enough to play for United.
"It is amazing that some of them were playing Champions League football at the age of 18 and I think they enjoyed that a lot."
And Alex Ferguson said:
"Kieran is a brave little lad and showed that with the goal he scored.
"He put his head among the boots and bodies and can be very pleased with himself.
"He enjoyed the experience and showed he has the temperament to handle the big occasion."

Fergie isn't infallible. We might like to think so, but he isn't. What he is, is incredibly stubborn.
I'd love to see a poll of United supporters on what system we should use. And who should play.
