He's going to have to use the phrase "radical Islam". The excerpts from the speech shows him using another phrase.

CNN talking about the fact Trump called Obama and Clinton cowards for not using the phrase. Plus not using the phrase is going to anger his base.

They don't care. They've said over and over what they cared about and when he doesn't follow through something else was more important. It's like playing whack-a-mole.

Tillerson is giving Trump last-minute instructions!

"Stay on message, Don... stay on message... and no crowd size... ".

He seems to like his son-in-law more than most of his actually family. Probably because of Ivanka being his favourite.

He's probably got some deal with Jared where he promises him that he can run the country if he sends pics of Ivanka in the shower.

King Salman is making a good point: extremism started after the Iranian Revolution.

He's pressing hard against the Iranian regime... music to Trump's ears.

EDIT:

Surprised he actually acknowledged that more Muslims/Muslim countries have died/suffered from terrorism than anyone else.

Seen the shoe one, man it has warmed me to Dubya.. what a guy.

Trump's shadow has put Dubya in a much better light to be honest.

It's a GOP tactic though IMO, have a ridiculous front man who takes all the flack while they work all their evil schemes in the background.

The speech isn't the worst, but fecking hell his delivery is terrible.

He won't acknowledge this at home as he won't acknowledge a lot of other things as it wouldn't fit with his islamophobic rants of the campaign and afterwards.

I find his speech quite repetitive and a bit all over the place. I wonder if that's Miller's work or if Twitler interfered.

Maggie Haberman tweets that there were five drafts of his speech.

That was a good speech for Trump's standards. People were worried he would make a gaffe or say something offensive, but its good that he stuck to the script.
